I have a basic question regarding map caching. Does any body knows if arcgis ios api supports map caching from a basemap? I know we can make tile packages and all using ARcMAp and other softwares on our PCs, but I want to add this functionality in my app.
We don't support creating map caches from ArcGIS Online or Bing basemaps. The data contained in these maps is provided by various vendors with licensing terms that prevent redistribution.
If you are using your own map as a basemap you can package that up using ArcMap
