I'm having this error:

{Error code '400': 'Unable to complete operation.'
Error executing tool.: Layer "3657710fff894af28b244f9a13ef1982": Missing 'url' in symbol.
Failed to execute (Export Web Map).
Failed to execute (Export Web Map Task).}

And I don't know why. It's on a point layer but if I uncheck it in the TOC the printting tool works.
I have tried changing the symbology.

Thanks in advance

Hi
Where are you exactly trying to execute Export Web Map task. I mean if it is an app (Flex or Silverlight) or Arcgis online.
Also do you have any kind of security enabled on your point layer?

hi divyam

do you can help me please?

I trying use the print widget from Arcgis Flex viewer and get the same message.

Any considerations

The map servicesis visible without problem in the viewer in local and print widget is working ok

When i access to viewer from internet  the map service is ok but the print  widget not working and i get the message

[RPC Fault faultString="Unable to complete operation." faultCode="400" faultDetail="Error executing tool.: Layer "carto base": Unable to connect to map server at http://186.47.xx.xx:6080/arcgis/rest/services/carto_base/MapServer.

Failed to execute (Export Web Map).

Failed to execute (Export Web Map Task)."]

What is the permissions that the map services need enable in firewall or proxy?

Thanks

Are both map and printing services running on the same machine/network?

Can you please check whether the machine and the process that runs the printing service has access to the map service?

Yes booth services are in the same server,I think that the problem is the

firewall security because in intranet all is ok but when i try access from

internet i have the problem.

Thanks for you help.

Thanks Pato.

Quick question: Is '186.47.xx.xx' the IP address of the arcgis server machine? or is this the IP address that you use to access the machine from outside the firewall?

I have the same issue too..
I'm using Silverlight appication connecting to local ArcGIS Server not ESRI Server,
both print task and web map host one the same server, and both are accessible through web browser.
Any idea?
