I'm creating a custom portal for our web site that will be pulling webmaps, applications etc from our ArcGIS Online for Organizations portal.
I have everything up and running in a test environment, but one thing I was wondering about is how I can increase the view count on an item when a user links opens an item. At the moment a user can click on the item and view it, but this doesn't increase the view count on the item within the portal. I can understand why you may hide this functionality (to stop people creating massive view counts) but I was wondering if this is possible and if so how...
I don't want to have users link through to the ArcGIS online portal and then launch from there either.
Any helps or ideas would be appreciated.
