Raster satellite imagery as basemap

We have 6 raster aerial photos we are using as basemaps.  Ideally we'd like all of them contained in one Service while maintaining individual layers so we are able to turn them on and off as needed.  (Success with uploads data wise, but they show up as one layer.) Does anyone know if this is possible?  If so, how?
Thanks.

How are you uploading your images? Am I correct in assuming that you published your raster data as a hosted tiled map service to your organization's subscription? If so, the data is collapsed into a single layer because the map service is just returning tiles. You could publish each image as a separate tiled map service.

thanks,

Mike

Mike,
Correct.  The trouble with uploading them as separate services is they are small pieces of a large landscape and we would like to utilize them all on one map if possible, but in differing configurations.  I believe if we upload them separately we are also unable to add them all to one map as ArcGIS Online will read them as basemaps and will only allow one basemap per map.
Thanks for your feedback.
