I am kind of new to GIS and am taking my first GIS class. I am trying to do a cost distance analysis and cannot seem to figure it out. I am working on an archaeological project in which I am trying to deduce the least cost path from two archaeological sites to around 25 diffferent obisidian sources. So far, I have created a cost raster based on my DEM. When I try to run a cost distance, it is only giving me values for the cells immediately surrounding each point. Should I have my sites and my sources as two seperate layers? It seems to only be calculating a path from the sources/sites to themselves rather than from one to the another. Does anyone know how I could do this. Again, I am new to this so I apologize if this is a dumb question.
