I am starting a project where I need to sample a variety of data sets in a grid type fashion. The end result should be each data set with a grid cell value that can be added together yielding some final total value. This is a modified DRASTIC for those of you familiar with groundwater susceptibility studies. The grid size will be 30 x 30 meters. Data sets are percent slope, soils, depth-to-groundwater, ect... What is the best way to sample so all sample grids have the exact same geographic location and allowing them to be added to each other? Any lessons learned out there?
