Using the "Rotation" tool within the Layer Properties/Symbology/Advanced location for a layer, I get perfect geographic symbol rotations within ArcMap.
However, this rotation feature does not translate to the REST API when I publish my layer to my FlexViewer.
Is there something I'm missing? A setting within the API or config for the layer within Flex? I found a post from April 2010, that indicated this feature was not supported in the REST API; however, being that it has been over a year since that update, is this still the case that symbol rotation is not supported in the REST API?
REST ignores any advanced options that are set on layer symbology. The "angle" property that you see on the layerInfo corresponds to the angle on the symbol selector (in arcmap).
