how to set-up margins on layout view

gud day sir/maam, i have a software of ARCgis 9.2.. and i know this is an easy question for you.. i just want to ask how to make margins on my layout view??.. pls do help me.. plsss plsss plssss... tnx!

Hi. Your print margins are set under File > Page and Print Setup > Properties > Paper Quality.  You can then set your elements within those margins in layout view by going to Insert > Neatline. If you don't want to view the neatline, then set the options for Border & Background to None.

can i ask how to adjust the margins??. for example 2 cm on top and bottom and .5cm on left and right side.. tnx

Oh! Right-click on layout and go to Options > Layout View > and make sure that the Margins are not automatically snapping. Then you should be able to put your cursor on the margin line and drag it along the ruler to where you want it.
