From the ArcGIS Pro help section : "The Version Changes dialog box currently only supports traditional versions."

View version changes—Geodatabases | ArcGIS Desktop

I need to know what I'm posting to the default version. How can I see non-conflicting changes?

Hi Elisa,

I wanted to provide a follow-up to this thread.

We now have the capability to view version changes using branch versioning in Pro 2.4. If you haven't already, please upgrade your version of Pro to 2.4 and try it out! Hope this helps and thanks so much for posting that idea!

Hi Elisa,

I don't believe the same Version Changes functionality exists for Branch Versioning. If you need to see changes between a child version and the Default version that are not conflicting, you'll need to view those changes in the map view or the attribute table in Pro.

Branch versioning does define conflicts at the row level by default which should give more conflicts to review. Edits to the same row or feature will cause a conflict. Conflicts are also resolved in favor of the edit version.

I searched the ArcGIS Ideas site to see if this idea had been posted yet. I was not able to find one. I'd suggest you create a new idea for this if you need the functionality. That site is actively reviewed by our Development teams when deciding on new functionality to add to the software.

Thanks Jonathan Farmer. I posted the idea here Branch versioning needs a Version changes button

Just to clarify, "you'll need to view those changes in the map view or the attribute table in Pro" - I guess you mean that if I know what kind of changes I am looking for, then I can compare attribute tables of features in my version and the default version?

I definitely need an easier way to do this, like in the traditional versioning. The whole point of the version changes button is that I don't need to memorize which feature classes have possibly been changed in one version.
