I have numerous arcgis online web apps created from web maps that are for outdoor events, I share publicly.
The web map behind the app is all sharing publicly correctly not asking for login and showing in arcgis Explorer application.
But the web app keeps going to login page.
I don't know how the web map is working but not web app?

Link above is meant to go straight to web app

Hi Jonathan - it looks like two of the services referenced by your app are no longer shared publicly. They appear to be referenced directly by the app rather than part of a web map used in the app. There might be more, but this these are the two I found from a quick review:

Jonathan,
WAB uses more than just the web map from your Portal/AGOL. I accesses your orgs preferred basemap, geocode service, print service, etc so if your organization has the security set so that access to the org or a secure print service is used then the login will be displayed.
Hi Robert,
Have you got any suggestions of what setting to check to change to allow public access?
Jonathan
Jonathan,
See this link and scroll down to the allow anonymous access to organization
Hi Robert,
The anonymous access is ticked on but still having issue
Are any of your services secured? What about your orgs print service or geocode service?
It is still asking for login on that app, removed geo locating services.
I will log a call with ESRI UK on Monday
I tried to open the map, and was asked to sign in to his account - but not before I had a second and a half view of what I'm guessing was his map. I'm not used to curtains that only close a second and half after someone tries to look thru the window. Does anyone know if that is par for the course with Arc On Line, or just an artifact of whatever is causing Jonathan's problems?
It’s like the web map is public and everything is fine until a widget attempt to load a service that is not public and then the identity manager is called and the login is presented. No this is not par for the course.
