Opening widget multiple times

Hi Guys,

I am working on the Custom widget in the web app builder 

1. I need a widget to be opened multiple times in the same application and

2. How to open the widget  by dragging with the mouse in separate tab/new browser??

Please let me know is it possible to achieve the above requirements and any ideas would be highly appreciated..

1.  It is possible to open a widget multiple times if you set the manifest.json  "supportMultiInstance": true,
2. No it is not possible to drag a widget to a new tab or window. The app is a single window app.

Thanks Robert but I would like to add only widget in the panel and would like access or open multiple times.

   No that is not possible. You can add the widget to the app multiple times have a separate placeholder/icon for each.

   Maybe you can explain why you would need to open the same widget more than once?

  Then why not use a widget layout that can show more than one image inside the same widget?
