CSS position:absolute not working

I'm using the esriSimpleSlider with a dijit button to trigger a GP tool. I've gotten the placement of these where I want them , but for some reason position:absolute; is not working. The box moves around if I change the size of my browser. Here are my div tags:

<body class="claro">
    <div id="mapDiv" ></div>

      <div id="search"></div>

     <div id="HomeButton"></div>
     <div style="position:absolute; left:15px; bottom:15px; z-Index:999;">

    <div id="info" class="esriSimpleSlider" style="position:absolute; left:82px; bottom:775px; z-Index:999;">
      Click button to draw a polygon on the map. A current forecast report will be generated for your chosen region.<br>
       <div data-dojo-type="dijit.form.Button"  id="drawPoly" onclick="app.toolbar.activate(esri.toolbars.Draw.RECTANGLE);app.map.hideZoomSlider();">
        Draw
      </div>
    </div>
