Prevent users from accidentally digitising multi part polygons in Collector for ArcGIS

If a user incorrectly digitises a polygon as below, it creates a multi part polygon consisting of two parts - The big part and the smaller fish tail triangle part. 

Is there a way to prevent a user from submitting such a polygon in Collector ?
