I have taken over the management of our GeoPortal server and have been asked about the gptadmin password.  I was not provided that information when I took over the project, and I do not see a gptadmin user.  Is this a built in account?  Is there a way to recover the password?


Also, we need to install an upgrade.  I want to make sure I don't lose my configuration and settings, especially for a customer SDSFIE validator that we have installed.   What is the recommended/best practice for backing up data and configuration prior to performing an upgrade?
