Does anyone know of a way to change the default tool from the Pan tool to the Select tool when you move from your Layout View to the Data View in ArcMap 10.3.X? I almost always need to select things as opposed to panning when I'm in the Data View. It feel like such a waste of time to have to keep clicking the tool as I go back and forth between the two views. Thank you! And yes, I did check many Google results for this and search the community before posting this. Thanks!
