Updating ArcGIS Dynamic Layer Symbology without having to Refresh Map?

Is there a way to refresh the graphic within an ArcGIS Dynamic Web Service without having to change the extent or zoom after performing an edit to a feature layer?

The graphic for the dynamic layer will not change unless I perform a pan or zoom.

I use the feature layer to update attributes, but it is limited to a single or unique field, since a unique value with multiple fields is not supported.  Here is what my layer list looks like:

Any ideas how I can get the dynamic layer to refresh without having to change the extent or refreshing the application?
