I have an existing web map created and hosted on arcgis online here: http://hobart.maps.arcgis.com/home/webmap/viewer.html?webmap=bc072ad95fa340528519e1f770d44643
The map consists of a custom basemap and a feature layer of polygons.
My goal is create a custom javascript app that uses the arcgis javascript "feature layer hover" code here: Feature layer hover | ArcGIS API for JavaScript , so that when users hover their mouse over the polygons they would be highlighted and users would know to click on them.
I'm fairly new to the arcgis javascript scene, but I've been playing around with the samples and can't get this to work. I can't even get my web map to show by referencing the web map ID. Any advice on how to get this started would be very appreciated.
