I am currently working with CityEngine and it has been requested that the basemap we currently use (all vectors, pt, line, and poly) be converted to a Raster an be used as the texture for out terrain. Im having difficulty finding best practices for preparing this data so that it oroperly reflects our current symbology and opacity.
Does any one have a proven workflow or best practices that I can reference? If it was all polygons Id be good but Im not sure how to handle the pts and the lines also Im using a scale range and cant determine how to rasterize the ranges that I want. THey are not all the same across the board.
Anything helps even a "dont try this"
