I would like to know if there is a way to create a visible virtual link between related objects.
Example.
I have 9000 service locations that each have a Transformer_ID displaying the id of the transformer that is serving that location.
I have 3000 transformers that serve those 9000 service locations and each has a unique Transformer_ID
What I would like to see is a way to visually display which service location is related or joined to a given transformer. Not so much for mapping purposes but for error checking.
My current method is to create X,Y for both features, join them based on Transformer_ID, then export the joined table as a .txt and from the .txt do xy to line and create the links. I can then go through the map and quickly find any errors.
