Map Rotate Widget

Are there any custom widgets to rotate the map view in WAB? If not what functions are available to accomplish this?

No there are no widget for this or any functions to do this. WAB 2D is still built using the 3.x API and map rotation is not available.

Just want to make sure that I'm clear: just need a way to change north from being up to the side, or down for example.

Correct there is no map rotation support for the JS 3.x API.

Wow, this is incredible, a basic mapping tool like this has not been developed for AGSOL. 

We have a third party software, CityView, that consumes ArcGIS Map Services that has a highly functional Map Pan/Rotation Widget for it's Map viewing component, but ESRI cannot provide a widget in Web App builder? Or any of its  supported APIs?   

Am I wrong? Please say I'm wrong.

Exactly the response I had. Seems like a pretty fundamental tool

I'm curious about CityView. Are you connecting to AGOL with this?

Joe,

Yes, the CityView Application consumes a Rest Map Service, much like any AGSOL app does.

I suspect there may be some Javascript code out there to embed this into the Map somehow. 

I'll be searching for it  and get back to you on what I find
