Amal,

For some reason the escape character \ is not working for you. So you need to search and replace the \' characters with a blank or nothing in your D:\arcggis-web-appbuilder-2.1\WebAppBuilderForArcGIS\server\apps\18\widgets\eSearch\settings\nls\fr\strings.js

Amal,

What do you mean by blocked? Can you share a screenshot?

Amal,

Is there an error in your browsers web console (F12) when you click the add search layer link?

Amal,

That error tells be that you are using a older version of the eSearch in your app as that french string error was fixed already. Be sure to download and use eSearch 2.1.2.

Amal,

If you had an older version of the eSearch widget in your WAB app then the way to update it to the latest version is to replace the eSearch folder in the apps directory (i.e. [install dir]\server\apps\[app #]\widgets\eSearch)
