HEC-GeoRAS XS Cutlines Filtering Points

Is there a way to filter the number of points on XSCutLines using HEC-GeoRAS on ArcMap before the file is exported to HEC-RAS?

No you cannot do this in HEC-GeoRAS. The filtering needs to be done in HEC-RAS.

FYI - There is a new tool in Arc Hydro, Thin Cross-Section, available in the Arc Hydro Tools toolbox>H&H Modeling>Utility toolset that allows filtering the vertices in cross sections using either a fixed number of vertices or a fraction of the original number of vertices.
