Dear Esri Community,
I have been experimenting with ArcHydro Tools and Watershed analysis and was just wondering if it is possible to simulate actual River flow velocity purely through GIS. I have read a few articles on the subject but in most cases they use some sort of actual data, and was just wondering if you could simulate flow velocity purely though GIS, and if so how?
If there are any links or videos to show how to do this that would be greatly appreciated.
