Dear Esri Community,
Is it possible to simulate/obtain river flow velocity purely through GIS? I am relatively new to GIS and was just wondering how one would go about doing this. I have found numerous layers on River widths/depths which would be used to calculate velocity, however have found no data on river flow velocity globally or regionally (Except for few govt websites like Brazil)
