Catchment Delineation

Hi,

I am processing in GeoHMS to create a watershed. The catchment grid created has gaps in between.
Surprisingly, in my first attempt of preprocessing,this issue didnot occur.
later, I had to reshape the dem for outlet point, and since then, there has been gaps in the catchment grid.

I have even burned the streams into the dem, and have done a no.of trials by adjusting the threshold area, but still the issue persists
Kindly help. I am using ArcGIS 10, and Aster dem.

Did you fill sinks? Failing to fill sinks can result in gaps like this.

yes..i have done that. twice..Before and after  burning the streams .
The surprsing fact is, it didnot happen in the first attempt .. Am guessing its the dem issue. because, its working fine with global dem.
