It's a hosted feature layer within our Enterprise Portal consisting of point features & related tables. The inspections are being performed on the related tables.

We perform inspections, where uncorrected and corrected gas meter readings are obtained. To verify the readings are accurate, a formula is manually performed: ((a - b) x pfactor) + c a = this month's uncorrected meter reading b = last month’s uncorrected meter reading pfactor = Positive Displacement Factor (a variable based on the pressure at the time of the inspection - a different number for every 0.5psi change in pressure) c = last month’s corrected meter reading What’s the best way and location to perform this calculation automatically? Thought about Survey123, but don’t have a way to bring in last month’s reading. Thought about a Dashboard, but can’t do complex calculations like that in Enterprise Portal. Thought about an arcade expression in a feature pop-up on a map, but would be very time consuming to click on each point inspected during the month to verify readings. Suggestions?

I've tried a couple... This one launched field maps, and the appropriate map, but gives an error that the layer could not be found (which makes sense, since the featureSourceURL is looking to AGOL, and the map utilizes the feature service I created in Portal. I was just trying different things with this one): https://fieldmaps.arcgis.app?referenceContext=updateFeature&itemID=904c5e99277045fc959e9ccccaf9da7a&featureSourceURL=https://services7.arcgis.com/2Z4zSKLqyCcsqQHt/ArcGIS/rest/services/GasProblemReports/FeatureServer/0&featureID=E6891CB6-5704-4AD7-A1E0-EA049773F9E0 I tried this one, copying the only link I could out of Portal for the feature service to use in the featureSourceURL, even though it's not a rest URL, and it gave me a server error in '/arcgis' application runtime error in my mobile device's browser: https://fieldmaps.arcgis.app?referenceContext=updateFeature&itemID=904c5e99277045fc959e9ccccaf9da7a&featureSourceURL= https://gucportalprd.guc.com/arcgis/sharing/servers/90784e992e174047bae83fe97540aed2/rest/services/GasProblemReports/FeatureServer/0&featureID=E6891CB6-5704-4AD7-A1E0-EA049773F9E0 (I noticed the { } weren't surrounding the GlobalID in the two examples above, so I even tried adding those without success.) I've also tried enabling searching in the map for the layer's ObjectID, by editing the map's json in AGOL assistant, and using the referenceContext=search function in a URL, with no luck (even searching the map manually for an ObjectID after enabling the search didn't work). The only links I've been able to get to work was one that simply launches Field Maps, one that opens the specific map in Field Maps, and one that uses a referenceContext of search, and includes the feature's "location" attribute in the URL. This works, as long as the individual entering the location uses an address. If they use an intersection or business name, it doesn't work. This is what that link looks like in Power Automate: <a href="https://fieldmaps.arcgis.app?referenceContext=search&itemID=904c5e99277045fc959e9ccccaf9da7a&search=@{items('Apply_to_each')['attributes']['location']}">Tap Here to launch Field Maps</a>

I'm hosting a feature on AGOl, and brought it into my Enterprise Portal as a feature service. In portal, I have a map, utilized by Field Maps, that has the abovementioned feature service in it. I created a Power Automate flow that sends an email any time a new feature is added. Within that email, I'd like to include a hyperlink that launches the specific map in the Field maps app, and zooms to the location of the newly added feature. I'm able to create a link that successfully launches the correct map in the Field Maps app, but hit a road block when trying to access a specific feature. I can get the URL to return the GlobalID; however, can't seem to figure out the featureSourceURL part. In Portal, the web service rest URL returns this, so I can't obtain the typical rest URL: If I enter the rest URL from AGOL, I get an error when Field Maps launches advising that layer cannot be found (since the layer isn't being added to the map directly from AGOL.)

Any guidance on how to perform this if adding a feature (with attachments) to the feature layer via a method other than Survey123 (i.e. adding features through Field Maps)?

I created a Power Automate flow that sends an email when a new feature is added to my hosted feature layer in AGOL (features are added through Field Maps). I'd like to include any attachments the user attached when they created the feature; however, the only directions I can find are for Survey123 attachments. Is there any documentation on how to simply add any attachments associated with the new feature, regardless of how it was submitted (Survey123, Field Maps, etc.)?

Any update on this feature request? We survey properties whenever interest in utility service is received outside of our current service area. Being able to build a webapp that allows us to select a group of parcels (from a parcel feature) and then copy/paste them to a "surveyed properties" feature (so we can send letters and track feedback), bringing over address and owner information, would be extremely beneficial, and easier than our current method in ArcMap.

I ended up deleting the map and webapp, rebuilt everything, and the two fields show up in the smart editor. Thanks for the assistance though!

Yes, the fields were added after the hosted feature had already been created. Fields were created through the feature's data tab > Fields > Add Field The app (and smart editor widget) were created prior to the new fields being added to the feature. I've since tried deleting the smart editor, saving the edits to the webapp, refreshing the webapp - adding a new smart editor widget, ensuring the two fields are selected as viewable & editable, but they still do not display in the smart editor.

I created a web app with a Smart Editor widget. I have two text fields that are not showing up in the smart editor, even though they're selected to be editable (Report Editor and Report Edit Details in the image below). Any ideas?

If you type out the text you want to embed the link to, then highlight it (or highlight the attribute field) and click on the hyperlink icon (circled below) you can paste the URL in the pop-up:

May have something to do with the fact it's still in Beta for Enterprise, and/or the version or Portal you're using? I'm utilizing Portal 10.8, and there's functionality in AGOL's Map Viewer that I don't have in Portal's Map Viewer (Beta), but I see where it's available in Portal 10.9.

In a dashboard's map, I'm using Layer Actions so I can select features on the map to filter a list. When I select multiple features on the map, the list filters to just show those selected features just fine; however, when I click on one of the list items to zoom to its location on the map, the list filters again and only displays the features in the current map extent. I don't have any filtering actions enabled in the list (just zoom to and flash), nor do I have any filtering enabled in the map, under Map Actions, so I'm not sure why the list is filtering again based on map extent. Any idea what could be causing this, or how to resolve it?

That was my original plan, but I don't have that "in the last" option for some reason. I am in Portal 10.8.1; so, I don't know if maybe Map Viewer (Beta) doesn't have that option in this version. I see it in AGOL, but not in my Portal.

Thanks for the reply! That formula appears to return the same results as mine. I need a way to only look at, and symbolize based on the most recent inspection date. If it was inspected in 2020 and 2021, I only want it to look at the 2020 date to see if it is within 14 months of today. Right now, it's looking at both years, and places two points on the map.
