The relevant code for that is not in the Flex Viewer source code. The AttributeTable is an API component and the source code for that is part of the API download. Inside the zip file, you might want to start looking at ArcGIS_Flex\src\com\esri\ags\skins\supportClasses\AttributeTableOptionsMenu.mxml and other Attribute* files in ArcGIS_Flex\src\com\esri\ags\skins\

I'm not sure what the file size upload limit is, but you might want to try generalizing your data before uploading it.

Hi Carlynn, For performance reasons, it's best to have the data in the same projection as the application it will be used in. This way there is no need for projecting the data each time it is requested. So if you usually put your data on top of the main ArcGIS basemaps, then yes, it is best practice to upload your data as Web Mercator.

Do you mean you don't want a basemap from ArcGIS Online, or you don't want a basemap at all? Do you want a completely blank map, or do you want some map data in the map? The base map does not have to be one of the Esri-provided ones, see for example http://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/create-maps/choose-basemap.htm.

My guess is that the error is coming from the service (not the proxy), so might not be an issue with how you configured the proxy. You can get this error back from the actual service (not the proxy), if for example you click where that sample service does not have data coverage, like in the ocean or outside the US. http://sampleserver3.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/Network/USA/NAServer only covers USA... What does the detailed error say?

I noticed on the samples page that they are now built using the 3.7 API released on the 14th of this month, but the documentation is still outdated. That's a mistake with the samples. Version 3.7 has NOT been released. It is planned for release later this year.

...when I open the the Edit widget, the zoom-in/zoom-out buttons in the nav widget are greyed out... You can see the same behavior in the Edit widget sample at http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/flex-viewer/live/index.html?config=apps/config-edit.xml All the mouse and keyboard navigation is still available, for example: Press Shift and click and drag to draw a rectangle around an area and zoom in. To zoom out, press Alt and Shift when drawing the rectangle. see https://developers.arcgis.com/flex/api-reference/com/esri/ags/Map.html for more.
