Hello Fabio, When you route on this custom network in ArcGIS Pro, and then hit the "Directions" button, do you see directions with street names? Likewise, if you are in Navigator, create a route, and hit the directions button (bottom left) - do you get a full directions list?

Hello Roger, Can you check to see that your package has a geocoding locator, transportation network, and basemap in it? If there isn't a locator or network within it, it won't appear in the Navigator map search.

Hello Andrew, We currently don't have plans to expose Navigation as a capability in the ArcGIS API's (JS, iOS, Android, etc.). However, there still is an integration point, and that is using a URL Scheme or "app link" to send stop information to Navigator. Then, once you've arrived using Navigator, you can call back to and open your origination app. The below has samples of how you can do this: GitHub - Esri/navigator-integration: Multi Language repository that contains documentation and sample code for creating … Does this help?

Hello Winston, Can you verify that you have Navigator version 2.0 installed? In Navigator, go to Settings --> About Navigator, and you should see the App Version 2.0.0. If this is not the case then you will need to update the app. Also, the .mmpk file that you created in Pro (version 1.2 or later) must have a basemap, transportation network, and geocoding locator within it. Tutorials for creating custom navigation maps are here: Prepare maps—Navigator for ArcGIS | ArcGIS Does this help? -scott

Hi Finnian, Thanks for the comment and requirement, it is a great idea and something that esri is considering for our field apps. Currently, straight line navigation (or compass/bearing directions) this is not in apps like Navigator nor Collector nor Explorer. Today, as work-around's you could: 1) create network paths between the locations, and create a custom navigation map (in Pro) for routing on those paths with Navigator. Navigator 2.0 supports navigating on custom data created in Pro. 2) use Collector's blue pulsating dot (indicating your current location) to orient yourself in the field, in relation to the points in the map. The above however isn't exactly what you are requesting. We do plan to look into designing and developing this in our field apps roadmap.

Custom map packages within Navigator are not yet supported. Navigator 2.0 is required. This 2.0 update will be released very soon on iOS, and Android (in beta).

Hello, The trial process is described on the Marketplace listing, esri.com page, and doc page (links below). If you do not yet have an ArcGIS Online subcription, Navigator is part of the ArcGIS Trial. http://www.arcgis.com/features/free-trial.html?origin=navigator Or, if you already have an ArcGIS Online subscription and want to add a trial to it, you can email services@esri.com and provide your customer number, subscription id, name and contact information. They will add a trial to your existing account. https://marketplace.arcgis.com/listing.html?id=b2d9a4dd70174fac8986dd2bf15a477a Navigator for ArcGIS FAQs—Navigate | ArcGIS Thanks, hopefully that will clear it up! -scott

Hi Dani, I'm on the Esri Network Analyst team, and curious to hear how you may want us to create an ArcGIS Online OD cost matrix service. Do you think you could please tell me more about what you would use it for, and how you would use it? I'd really like to talk to you about it if possible. Thank you for any info, Scott

Hello Saed, As you found out, ArcGIS for Transportation Analytics does not have a devoted Resource Center page. For information about what the Transportation Analytics bundle is, the product page is best. That is available here: http://www.esri.com/software/arcgis/arcgis-for-transportation-analytics The two sample applications you are referring to are the RoutePlanner and Status Dashboard. The RoutePlanner app is available on both GitHub and on ArcGIS.com. The Status Dashboard is available on GitHub. Those links are below. RoutePlanner ArcGIS.com - http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=c288d16d0fe3449b98444db477e51485 RoutePlanner GitHub - https://github.com/Esri/route-planner-csharp Status Dashboard GitHub - https://github.com/Esri/route-status-dashboard-js These are sample applications, that can be customized and configured to support your workflows. Let me know if you have any more questions. -Scott Sandusky, Esri

Hello timothieb, Yes, there is attribute information behind the incident points. This includes the below attribution. severity incident type start time end time last updated time description location full description Depending on what application you are using, these attributes may or may not be identifiable by default. For example, if you are using the ArcGIS Online Map Viewer, those attributes may be exposed by enabling and configuring pop-ups. You can also connect in ArcGIS Desktop for example, using these steps: http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/#/What_are_the_ArcGIS_Online_network_analysis_services/0047000001t6000000/ Let me know if you have any other questions about this data, Scott

Hello suec, Esri receives traffic data (historic, live, and predictive) from HERE, which may be more familiar to you as NAVTEQ or Nokia. For more information about HERE, you can visit www.HERE.com. HERE integrates more traffic data sources than any other traffic data supplier and utilizes more commercial and consumer GPS probe data than any other organization in the industry. HERE collects billions of GPS and cell phone probe records per month and where available uses sensor and toll tag data to augment the probe data collected. To compile this vast amount of data, HERE uses an advanced algorithm to compute accurate speeds. Traffic is derived from several primary data inputs. This includes, commercial GPS probe data, consumer GPS probe data, and sensor data. Let me know if you need more information and I'd be happy to help, Scott - ssanduskky@esri.com

Can you make sure that your input and output are in the same spatial reference? Also, if you are writing to a geodatabase, make sure that your output does not have the .shp extension in the tool output. Does this help?
