Hi Cody, I have map services published from Query layers in ArcMap. I used Web App Builder and then selected the Dashboard template. I am able to use the filtering widget (regular and group) with the layers, and regular ones like layer list, attributes, etc. Thanks! Pamela

Issue #1: When trying to set up the Infographics Widget in web app builder, it won't allow me to chose the map being used to fuel the web app. It doesn't give me any map option to choose - see attachment. I have used this widget in other web apps no problem. I have also recreated this web app and map multiple times to see if that would fix it...it doesn't. Issue #2: I have also run into issues with this widget where I will make a change and hit the OK button but the widget window won't close. In order to save my changes I have to close the window, make a change somewhere else, and the save the web app.

Hi, I have web app which one of my users will be editing. Is there a way to get a field/fields to auto-populate with the lat/long when the user places or moves a point? Thanks! Pamela

This option would be so helpful for data collection that I do. We do a lot of collection inside buildings with multiple floors. being able to filter the data and floorplans at the same time (like the group filter in web app builder) would make this type of collection so much easier!

Hi I have a basemap that I cache and use as a map service. The first screen shot below is what the map is supposed to look like (minus the red background). I changed the Data Frame's background color to red to show that I want to have the white City Polygon as shown. When I create the cached map service for some reason, that white polygon does not come through - see screenshot below. Any idea why this might be happening? The polygon is just a polygon Feature Class with the color set to white. Thanks! Pamela

Hi Craig, this is the solution I used and it works quite well. I have a field and a supervisor survey. The supervisor can see sent surveys that have not been signed by the supervisor and sign them via his inbox within the Survey123 app. Here is how I set it up. I always use the advanced excel template when setting up my surveys. 1. Create the survey with All of the questions you want, including the supervisors signature. 2. Publish this as the Field Survey 3. Create a new survey from a feature class, and use the feature class that was created with the field survey, this will be the supervisors survey. 4. On the supervisors survey enable the Inbox, and i used an expression "supervisor signature is NULL" so when the supervisor logs in they only see the surveys they did not sign. 5. This step is optional, but i then went back into the field survey and made the supervisor signature as the "hidden" format instead of "text" so the field workers could not see/sign the supervisor's signature themselves. 6. I also played around with the "instance name" on the setting tab of the excel spreadsheet so the surveys would show up as the survey date and an attribute from the survey - this way when the supervisor is looking at them in his inbox, he can easily identify surveys. I hope that helps, if you need further detail or screenshots let me know!. Pamela

How do I fix this? Is there someone who can help? I uninstalled my SQL Server Native Client and reinstalled the version that I downloaded from my MyESRI portal, I also made sure I was using the same version of Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio that is on my coworker's computer (she has no issues with Query Layers). Despite this, i am still having the same issues of ArcMap crashing when trying to create query layers. The other difference between my computer and my coworkers is that I am still on Windows 7 and she is on Windows 10..could that cause an issue?

the SDE geodatabases I am trying to query are using SQL Server 2014 installed on Windows Server 2012R2. If i RDP into this server Query layers function correctly...from my actual Desktop is where I'm having issues. My machine is running SQL Server 2016 - could that be causing the issue?
