Hi there: Little late with this reply, but I'm currently configuring the CPR and had a similar issue as you. Tried numerous SMTP domains, etc., but found out that what I needed was our local host IP address for our Outlook domain. Once I put in the IP address (no port needed), the mail started flowing after running the servicesupport.py script. Hope this helps, good luck!

Quick update on my Android testing (6/1/22). Noticed an updated Field Maps available in Google Play Store. Downloaded and was able to sign into my AGO account without the error. I then rebooted my phone and tested again and it worked fine. I then signed out of the app, closed it, and then tried a third time just to make sure. Still good! About Field Maps info listed as Version 22.2.1, build 1150.

I thought I'd try the WiFi vs cellular test to see if that's causing the issue. Nope. Full WiFi strength or cellular only (we have a Verizon tower literally in the parking lot) and I still receive the connection error. I hope this gets addressed soon as we begin the heart of the data collection season here in the Midwest.

I'm logging into our ArcGIS Online account with my username that I've had for around a decade. Are you suggesting the error might be due to username and/or password length?

Quick update to my fix I mentioned earlier (e.g., uninstalling/reinstalling Field Maps). If I happen to close the app (swipe to shut it down) and try to open it up again, the connection error recurs. The only solution I found was to uninstall and reinstall Field Maps each time I went to use it. Yes, this still needs to be addressed.

Quick follow-up after a discussion with ESRI. I admittedly didn't try the whole route of uninstalling/re-installing Field Maps on my Galaxy S10 (Android 12) phone, but that solved the issue. When I was routed to the AGO login the error no longer appeared and Field Maps opened as expected. 👍

I ran into the error today on my Android phone (Galaxy S10, Android 12). Grabbed a co-worker's iPhone and it worked fine on iOS. Logged an incident with ESRI and noted that today's date (5/16/22) had been listed in the Modified field. I hope it gets addressed quickly as not everyone has access to an iPhone for our data collection. Spring is HUGE for field collection as well, so we'd love to see a quick fix/patch. Hello all! I'm wondering if anyone has successfully paired and used a Leica GS16 unit with Field Maps. We're trying to avoid purchasing a new, stand-alone GPS unit for infrastructure field collection, so we hoped that Field Maps would work with this particular Leica. I've been unsuccessful in finding any collection examples with this combo though. Any insights or advice is appreciated. Thanks! -Matt

I'd like to add that in addition to the line labels repeating in the New Map Viewer, there needs to be an option for line placement, e.g., above the line, below, etc. Trying to label a map of road centerlines is relatively painful when the major roads label every 100-200 feet and you'd also like to have the labels appear above the roads. I realize this is may be cartographically splitting hairs, but labeling is definitely not a one-size-fits-all approach. Hoping that later releases of the Map Viewer will address this as well.

I realize this is almost a year later, but thank you to Xuan for helping me stop beating my head against the wall trying to solve this issue! The join validation (using Pro 2.8) kept stating one-to-one when I knew it should've read one-to-many. Lo and behold, I had the source and join table in separate geodatabases. Exported the source feature class into the same default.gdb created with the project and it worked perfectly. Thanks again! 👍

Although the last post in this thread was 2013, I just ran into this issue TODAY in April 2021 using 10.5.1. Received the error until I turned on the layer in the TOC. Crazy that it wouldn't work without the layer being physically visible (I was just using the Attribute Tables).

I also agree that my users frequently print to PDF using WebApp Builder. Now with today's (3/9/21) announcement of Map Viewer Beta becoming the standard map viewer, most of us know that those great new Map Viewer beta functions (grouping layers, etc) aren't usable in the current WAB (I realize it will still display the layers). The advent of the Map Viewer Beta's tools is one of the reasons I experimented heavily with Exp Builder, so I hope the functional parity arrives this year...especially printing for those without developer editions.

Thanks for your response! The group layer support is something I've long sought after, but sounds like it might not work in WAB as you mentioned. The one I'm really excited about in the Map Viewer Beta are the labeling tools, fonts, etc. I have a feeling those might not be supported in the current WAB? The new fonts are fantastic for cartographic choices, plus the ability to have multi-line labeling and different labels depending on scale...all great additions.

I'll definitely be following this thread since we're also realizing that we'll have to transition from the WAB apps to EB due to the Javascript 4.x usage. I recently asked about new features in the Webmap Beta, which has a LOT of promise, only to find out that maps authored in the beta likely won't work in WAB...hence on to EB as the new path. Basically, I'd love to "clone" our current WAB Launchpad Theme directly within the EB builder. Fingers crossed for most of the WAB widgets can/will be ported over to EB. I'm not a developer, so I truly appreciate the ESRI team's efforts, especially after reading in this thread about the framework differences. Thank! -Matt

Confirmed (see screenshot)! Add the newline formatting in the current Map Viewer and then opened it up with the Beta and it displayed my two fields on separate lines as intended. Thanks for the feedback! -Matt
