Hi, I have the same workflow and similar issues. My point feature service is published with 'Add, update and delete feature' in the configuration tab when publishing from ArcGIS Pro (2.6.1), the feature service is linked to an enterprise GDB which is registered to the data store and the Portal (10.7.1) is federated. I have a Publisher role and the table is registered in the Enterprise GDB. In a new WebMap on Portal for ArcGIS, once on the Edit tab, I only get 'Feature creation is disabled for all layers.' in the table of content. Although my layer should be editable. I can only Update attributes and Delete features. But I cannot Move or Create features... Is there any setting/parameter missing? For info: in ArcGIS Pro, I can Add, Update and Delete feature from the same point layer stored in Enterprise GDB. And any changes appear in the WebMap.

Thanks Egge-Jan. I finally took some time to look at WebApp Builder in more details and the double-click Selection in Attributes works very well. And simple to implement!

Hi, Knowing that performance is improved by registering spatial table or view with enterprise geodatabase is good to know... However, is it possible to register a table or view directly with a sde command in a third party SQL client? ...instead of the regular Register with Geodatase tool in the toolbox... This is just to improve workflows... Thanks

Hi, I published a point layer containing about 50'000 points as a Feature Service on a Portal for ArcGIS. The layer is registered with the Enterprise Geodatabase. In the Portal, all points in the west display correctly but all point beyond longitude 0°, in the east, do not display. Although, I do have all records in the Attributes table and I can zoom in to any points in the east but the point to not draw! Bizarre. Any guess?

Hi, I found out where the problem was... Simply Register spatial tables (storing ST_Geometry) created with SQL clients in the Enterprise Geodatabase, using the ArcToolbox tool. And it works. The issue being unregistered spatial tables have limited functionalities such as feature services...

Hi, In Portal for ArcGIS, I have an editable feature layer in which 2 attributes can be edited (all the others are locked). For the first attributes, I have a multiple choice with a scroll-down menu to select the value, just like a Domain, which is great. But how can I insert new values in this list? For the second attributes, I have a free attribute in which I can wrtite anything, which I don't want. How can I change this attribute to be multiple choice, similar to my first attribute? Thanks

Hi, In Portal for ArcGIS, with an attribute table open, it is possible to select a record and use the top-right menu to select 'Center on Selection'. However, if you need to go through the attribute table, this menu is tedious. Is there any shortcut to 'Center on Selection' for quick navigation? Thanks

Hi, Using an organization Portal for ArcGIS, I would like to copy (actual data) a hosted feature layer within the same portal. I read this doc how how to save a copy of the layer but the copy points to the same data source: Copy and save layers—Portal for ArcGIS | Documentation for ArcGIS Enterprise The purpose of copying is to create a 'backup' in case editing goes wrong... Thanks

Hi, I have a point feature class in which I would like to calculate distance (possibly geodesic) with xy coordinates, origin and destination, stored within the table. I cannot find specific geoprocessing tool but I imagine it is possible with Field Calculator? Thanks

Thanks Dan. Will look at the Spatial Statistics when I will have more time... For the time being, I will use the techniques shown here: https://community.esri.com/thread/195092-group-every-near-50-points-together I am just trying to split spatially a large point features class in group of 50 points and possibly derive Thiessen polygons for display... It does not have to be exact.

Hi, I ArcGIS Pro, I have a point feature class on which I would like to procduce Thiessen polygons. However, instead of the regular Thiessen polygon behaviour on a single point, I would like to group the 50 closest points to each other in the feature class and to produce the Thiessen polygons accordingly... It is porbably a 2 step workflow but I cannot figure out how. I looked at the Thiessen, Sort (Spatial sort with PEANO algorythm), Near and Point Distance tools with no luck.

Hi, I published a feature service with the source stored as Data Store in Oracle. Unfortunately, when opening this feature layer in MapViewer, I receive an orange warning sign saying "layer did not draw completely". Actually, no features at all display in the MapViewer, even when zooming in. Trying to open the attribute table, I get "Accessing data failed". To me, it does not make sense because the same layer published as map image service works all ok and display in MapViewer... What's wrong with the Feature layer service? I came accross this Technical Support article but it does not look like the problem I am having: Error: Layer did not draw completely because there are too many features to display Anything wrong in my workflow? Thanks

Thanks for sharing. Indeed it helps to create polygons matching the extent of map frames...

Hi, I have hundreds of annotation stored in a GDB, with either Horizontal alignment to left or right. These annotations also have a Callout -> Background -> with only Leader line symbol. However, I have quite a few annotation where Horizontal alignment do not match the Leader line. For example, I can have a Right Horizontal alignment with a Left Leader line. Is it possible to calculate the HorizontalAlignment in the attribute tables with a Python expression taking into consideration the Leader line position? Thanks

Hi, In Oracle, I am trying to calclulate length for lines stored as ST_Geometry in SRID 4326 (WGS84). Unfortunately, the ST_Length function calculates in the units of the SRID and it is not usable neither meaningful. Looking at the SDE documentation, I am surprised it does not look possible to select an output unit in geodesic meter, kilometer, miles... as in the ST_Distance function. ST_Length—Help | Documentation Is there any workaround? It look like there is a possibility with the ST_Transform on the fly. However, as soon as you transform geodesic data into planar data, there will be some sort of errors introduced because my dataset is global. Any help will be appreciated.
