Hey, I am using the legend with a template, and I want to be able to tell if one of the layers has been checked on. It is a Query Layer that needs to be refreshed every 5 minutes. I don't want to have the timer working while the layer is turned off, but I am having a difficult time figuring out when it is turned on. Does anybody know how to tell if a layer has been turned on? Thanks, Chris

I have published the lat long data in 10.0, but when it comes to 10.1 it does not seem to work correctly. When attempting to publish, it will not let you register the layer's data source with the server, which makes it copy the data to the server. Since the data is dynamic, it totally defeats the purpose of getting the data from SQL. Is there a way to publish a mxd made up of a query layer? Chris

Hey, No I did not find any fixes. I am hoping that SharePoint 2010 will do a better job. Good luck, Chris

I also found that you can only print layers from one domain.

Hey, I am using Silverlight 5, skd 3.0 AGS 10.1. I have set up a test of the print task, and it works if I don't have my dynamic map service turned on. When I turn on my layers, it returns a null PrintResult, without much more info in the error message. The dynamic service seems to work fine. The server is a virtual machine it that makes any difference. Anybody have any ideas why the print task won't work with the dynamic map service turned on? Thanks, Chris

The way I would do this is to add cache levels your existing tiled map down to the 50 scale, but with empty tiles from 288 to 50. That way you can have the zoom levels go to where you want. Now you can switch between the dynamic layers in the empty zoom levels. Chris
