Hi Its almost two years later and this still happens in version 2.3 We have mostly unversioned data in SDE and even though 'Automatically save edits' is unticked and 'Show dialog to confirm save edits' is ticked, data edits are still saved immediately. Versioned data is fine, its just the non-versioned data which unfortunately is most of our SDE data. Is this improvement likely to ever happen? This is holding us back from stopping using ArcMap as it will be too easy for users to accidentally delete data in the current setup. In ArcMap you can choose to discard your edits, why not in ArcGIS Pro? Thanks

Did you ever find a cause? I have a user having exactly the same problem. He's the only one out of 50 in the organisation having this issue. Every time his computer locks after 15 minutes of no activity, after he reactivates it is has lost all connections to SQL server.

Hi Is it possible to turn off the 'Related Data' windows that appear when you access a dataset on Open Data? In some of our datasets, the related data that appears is totally unrelated to our organisation and misleading to users who would access it and be looking at data outside our organisation, but within our Open Data site. For example https://data-marlborough.opendata.arcgis.com/datasets/walking-and-cycling-tracks Three of the four "related" datasets are outside our organisation. They aren't even in the same country. We are in New Zealand and the "related" data is in USA/Canada. The ideal option would be to either be able to turn off this feature altogether, or set it to only display data within our organisation. Thanks

Yes its working now. Must have been a temporary issue. I checked the ArcGIS Online Health Dashboard and there was nothing on there to indicate any problems

Hi I'm having trouble exporting my Survey123 data. I have a simple point survey with only 38 records. When I try export it to any format it just sits there saying 'Exporting...' for about ten minutes, then fails. Anyone else experiencing this? I've tried on a few different surveys and its the same on all of them. I have tried different browsers (Chrome, Firefox and IE) and inside and outside our network. Same on all. Thanks

Update - you can use other projections but the basemap in the webmap has to match the offline basemap projection you have on the device

No custom HTML was added. Not a big deal, I just thought it was odd that they vanished. I've recreated them so its not a major issue but does slightly worry me that it might happen again

Has anyone ever had tabs randomly disappear from a story map? I have a tab series map with 29 tabs which is available publicly. Someone noticed today that four of the tabs had gone. The map hadn't been edited for quite some time (last edits were Oct 2018) and they were definitely there after that so there is no reason they should have gone. Anyone had this happen to them before? This is the map in question https://marlborough.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapSeries/index.html?appid=bcf43a62f5944909bfeef264d26c1621

Thanks Kevin. Yes your clarification is correct. That helps. In the Classic Collector it didn't matter what projection the original basemap was in because you could swich to your on device basemap before downloading. Its the other way around now. The webmap was using a WGS84 basemap soI've switched it to a generic NZTM basemap and I can now download in the new and old Collector and then use my on device basemaps in both. Thanks for explaining but the app could definitely use improvements in this area to make it less confusing and more efficient. In Collector Classic you could tell it to use the on device basemap and only download the data you need instead of having to download the basemap as well initially. This was a good time and space saver for the device.

It appears the tile package has to be in WGS84 as well although I haven't been able to confirm that yet

Still no reply from anyone at ESRI? Do offline tile package basemaps have to be in WGS84 now in the new Collector?

I have two basemap tile packages that we use in Collector. They are created in a local projection (NZTM 2193) which have worked for years in the old Collector App (now Collector Classic). I am trying the new Collector on iOS and it is not letting me use these basemaps anymore after I have downloaded a map onto the device. It says 'The spatial reference is not compatible with the map'. Do basemaps now have to be in WGS84 only? Also the method to manage basemaps on the device is worse now. You used to be able to do it through the app. You now have to do it through iTunes. This is a bit of a downgrade in my opinion.

Hi Owen Its possible the same thing is happening when using pop-ups on an image service. I'm getting the same behaviour. After opening a pop-up and panning the popup stops working until you zoom in or out. Unfortunately I don't have an example to share (the map I'm working on isn't yet public) but after it is I'll share a link here. Thanks
