Hi @AnthonyRyanEQL , Thanks for your question. I might need additional information about your concerns so I can answer them or have someone answer them. There are nuances when it comes to security but when it comes to sharing ArcGIS Insights follows the Portal's sharing model. Once you have created a database connection within Insights it creates a portal item. You can share this item with others and people who have access to this item will be able to see and use the data from this connection. If that is not desirable, you can also manage your security on the database by creating views or named users with permissions to certain data. (Note: we do not support row-based access) When it comes to sharing a report, Insights will honour permissions set on the Portal. e.g. if you share a report to "Everyone" but the underlying database connection is not shared with anyone then the viewers will get prompted to log in. If the viewer doesn't have enough permissions they will not see the cards they don't have access to. (Though this has exceptions depending on how your page is setup) I hope I have at least touched on your question. Feel free to drop in a follow-up.

Hi @WhitneyPatterson , Thanks for your post. You should be able to do this as an analyst but it is currently not possible for the viewers to print the current view of the report. But this would make a great idea for the report designer. I will check with the team if this is an idea for enhancement in the pipeline. If you don't mind me asking, what are the key things necessary for you to adopt insights? If you wish you wish to discuss this in private send me a direct message going to my profile and I can answer any other questions that you might have.

@Ed_ At the moment there is no way to edit the axis labels on the Y axis. The only reason why it shortens is the numbers occupying space on the axes. That this could be a good enhancement so that users can choose to show the full number or a short version..

Hi Alicia, Unfortunately, there is no way to share a folder at this moment. Insights use the same component that makes a folder in the user's content both in Portal or ArcGIS Online. Folders are per user and a way to organize your own content. Groups will be an appropriate place for shared content. I understand the need for further organization within a group if the same group works on multiple projects. That said, this Idea can be repositioned to support searching/filtering groups and group categories within insights on the home page and insights workbooks

Oh, I see what you mean. It usually needs calculating centroids and Insights doesn't do it at this time. Please submit an idea with your use case(s). The best approach would be to have the centroids precalculated as a separate layer. If you don't wish to duplicate attributes just have a field that you can join back to your polygons. This way, you can use Joins within insights to create a single dataset that has both polygon and point geometry.

Hi @Ed_ This sounds like an issue, you may want to create an issue with the support or if possible share your .insightswbk file if possible. When you export the workbook are you using the copy all data or Reference data option? This said, Sharing workbooks to your primary connection in the Desktop application was introduced in 2022.1. If you are to update your Desktop version you can try if this functionality works for your workbook. https://doc.arcgis.com/en/insights/latest/share/use-shared-workbooks.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_355BB4663CD841F1856A1519B6747846 If this doesn't work then we would like to get a sample workbook and/or steps to reproduce if possible.

This is by design. If there is no analysis in the work area the share page option is disabled. I would like to know your goal in doing this. Depending on that it could be a topic for the Insights Ideas page.

Hi @Ed_, There isn't a way to do so in Insights. May I understand your workflow and why would you need a heat map of polygons?

Hi @Roger_Bannister , Unfortunately, this workflow isn't supported yet but this is in our pipeline with a higher priority. The analysis should be updated for another side of the join if it is coming from your hosted feature layers that are updating. If you need to update this at the moment then you can do it manually: Refresh the Original dataset Create "Copy to workbook" dataset Switch to the Model view Replace the Current dataset copy of the dataset with the new copy Delete the old layer Share and update the page again.

Hi @PaulCone2, I took a look at the screenshot and what you are trying to achieve. I was wondering if you are restricted to use Bars or Stacked bar charts? I think you can achieve this in several ways in insights. The easiest being the time-series chart by dragging and dropping a date field. - It is easy to filter dynamically using the top slider bar - You can have more than one series or group by a category e.g. The second option, if you want to see Year/Month against a statistic a Heat chart or a data clock might be a good fit. From the date, components chose Year/ Month and a numeric field to create a Heat chart or a Data clock. You can also pair this chart with a Cross filter or Pre-defined filter to choose single or multiple years. It should look something like the following. I personally find it more readable than stuffing many categories in one bar/column chart. Lastly, If you need a bar or column chart (Stacked or unstacked) you can calculate a new field and use that instead of the date components. From Layer's menu open data table Add a new field called "Month - Year" and use `CONCATENATE(month,"-", year)` Use this new field to show a bar chart e.g. Let me know if that helps. Sorry for the long post. Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks, Akshay

@ShannonVeraldi2 @PatrickAvanesians @JonathanPollack Can you please elaborate on which version of ArcGIS Insights Desktop you are using? Did you activate it using ArcGIS Online organization or Enterprise? Does the user you are using to activate the license has an insights License associated with them? I would like to try and replicate this issue.

@DerekRichards Thanks for sharing that information. This sounds like a reasonable enhancement. I will give it a thought and present it to our leads to see where does this fits.

Hi Derek, The closest you can do is to add 1 numeric field as a line and one as a bar. In the first screenshot of the Stacked one that you posted what are the units on the X or Y axes? (One of them will represent the string category). Meaning, are the Red and Green bars are rendering percentages that are represented from 0-100 on an axis or they are representing unit increments for Sum of Red+Green? Thanks, Akshay

Hi Derek, I think the Combo chart in this case might make the most sense. You can also use a Tree map or point chart to represent these 2 Numeric Fields and one String. Though it is good to have multiple numeric fields in a stacked bar or column. If you have an example visualization will you be able to post it to this thread? Thanks, Akshay
