Hi @Roger_Bannister , Unfortunately, this workflow isn't supported yet but this is in our pipeline with a higher priority. The analysis should be updated for another side of the join if it is coming from your hosted feature layers that are updating. If you need to update this at the moment then you can do it manually: Refresh the Original dataset Create "Copy to workbook" dataset Switch to the Model view Replace the Current dataset copy of the dataset with the new copy Delete the old layer Share and update the page again.

Hi @PaulCone2, I took a look at the screenshot and what you are trying to achieve. I was wondering if you are restricted to use Bars or Stacked bar charts? I think you can achieve this in several ways in insights. The easiest being the time-series chart by dragging and dropping a date field. - It is easy to filter dynamically using the top slider bar - You can have more than one series or group by a category e.g. The second option, if you want to see Year/Month against a statistic a Heat chart or a data clock might be a good fit. From the date, components chose Year/ Month and a numeric field to create a Heat chart or a Data clock. You can also pair this chart with a Cross filter or Pre-defined filter to choose single or multiple years. It should look something like the following. I personally find it more readable than stuffing many categories in one bar/column chart. Lastly, If you need a bar or column chart (Stacked or unstacked) you can calculate a new field and use that instead of the date components. From Layer's menu open data table Add a new field called "Month - Year" and use `CONCATENATE(month,"-", year)` Use this new field to show a bar chart e.g. Let me know if that helps. Sorry for the long post. Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks, Akshay

@ShannonVeraldi2 @PatrickAvanesians @JonathanPollack Can you please elaborate on which version of ArcGIS Insights Desktop you are using? Did you activate it using ArcGIS Online organization or Enterprise? Does the user you are using to activate the license has an insights License associated with them? I would like to try and replicate this issue.

@DerekRichards Thanks for sharing that information. This sounds like a reasonable enhancement. I will give it a thought and present it to our leads to see where does this fits.

Hi Derek, The closest you can do is to add 1 numeric field as a line and one as a bar. In the first screenshot of the Stacked one that you posted what are the units on the X or Y axes? (One of them will represent the string category). Meaning, are the Red and Green bars are rendering percentages that are represented from 0-100 on an axis or they are representing unit increments for Sum of Red+Green? Thanks, Akshay

Hi Derek, I think the Combo chart in this case might make the most sense. You can also use a Tree map or point chart to represent these 2 Numeric Fields and one String. Though it is good to have multiple numeric fields in a stacked bar or column. If you have an example visualization will you be able to post it to this thread? Thanks, Akshay

To help, I'll package up a few screenshots of what I'm doing and why I'm doing it - might help others too. I think that will surely help. Also, putting together the steps you are doing to create those cards before you share the page as well as Sharing permissions set on the source layer, sharing set on the shared page wol d be good information for me to try it out. Eg; manually type in desired dimensions to create a card. Not sure what you exactly mean by this but Insights follow the drag and drop approach to create cards, and you can change the variables after the fact by selecting the dropdowns. But there isn't a way to type things and create cards unless you are using the python/R Scripting module. is there a way to removed the padding around a card I don't believe we have padding around the cards. There are many creative ways to go about the presentation you can choose to remove the background or set the border to No borders from the card style. You can also show or hide the card headers to make the card feel like floating in the work area If you more questions about styling let's create another thread and keep this topic specific to the initial question.

I am referencing very simple datasets from another organisational account. These datasets were already marked and managed publically. 1. This means your insights page/workbook is on say your Org1 where you added this public dataset from Org2 (referencing the URL). Please correct me if I am wrong. If so, I will give it a try and see if I can reproduce this behavior. seperate Insight for each - so one card, one Insight. Does this mean you are creating/sharing a new page for each card? One other question I had: In the original issue when you shared those 3 cards did you have any of the layers that needed to log in on that workbook/the page?

Hi Jonathan, This is interesting. Insights defer to the portal's sharing model to manage tokens. I tried intercepting the network traffic and found the following layers asking for tokens. https://services6.arcgis.com/1nr1FSi7qoFduqRA/arcgis/rest/services/climate_change_energy_ratings/FeatureServer/0?f=json https://services6.arcgis.com/1nr1FSi7qoFduqRA/arcgis/rest/services/Transport_Carbon_Calculations_V1_JM/FeatureServer/0?f=json https://services6.arcgis.com/1nr1FSi7qoFduqRA/arcgis/rest/services/private_hire_licences_1/FeatureServer/0?f=json Do the datasets used in the 3 KPI cards are either joined/enabled locations or using calculated fields? And do these KPI's have cross filter enabled on the workbook? If the KPI cards are using joins (referencing any of the layers above) then all the source datasets that are involved in the join also need to at the same or higher level of sharing than the Page. One quick way to find out what layers a card is using is to click the card in your workbook and see the blue tags right at the beginning of the dataset in the data pane. Let me know if that is not the case, we can further try to troubleshoot or have you get a support case created.

Hi @JacobFischer, Are you still facing this issue? Unfortunately, I am not able to access the GDB Dashboard 1/2. I am also guessing you are using the ArcGIS Online version of Insights for your dashboards. I saw your screenshots and Are you doing any joins, locate or spatial operations? Is it possible for you to share a sample dataset and reproducible steps? I understand you are uploading a zipped GDB but would like to know what else you are doing other than creating a Predefined filter and Timeseries chart. Thanks, Akshay

Hi Edward, Are you still experiencing this issue? I am guessing your were enabling location by addresses.. Have you tried a newer version of insights (2.3)? Also in 3.0 it should work. Note that this will consume credits for geocoding.
