Steve, that's very helpful thank you - we're looking to add MGRS conversion eventually as well.

It seems this isn't possible using webMercatorUtils.project(), I'm just wondering if anyone has found a way to successfully convert a point to UTM? I'm trying to have the mouse coordinates show in UTM (NAD 83 Zone 10), but the following doesn't pass webMercatorUtils.canProject(): var utmSR = new SpatialReference(102410); var Point = webMercatorUtils.webMercatorToGeographic(evt.mapPoint); if (webMercatorUtils.canProject(utmPoint, utmSR)) { var utmPoint = webMercatorUtils.project(Point, utmSR); console.log(utmPoint.x.toFixed(3) + ", " + utmPoint.y.toFixed(3)); } The API reference doesn't say anything about why something might not pass canProject() A jsfiddle here

The search widget has a dropdown for the user to pick a source to search from. Once the source has been picked, the searchInput textbox is activated - in Internet Explorer, this removes any placeholder text. I'm finding users aren't sure which fields in a particular source are searchable, so in the placeholder text I've added descriptions (ie. "Type tenant name, lot ID"). This works great for Chrome but most of our users use IE. If I could add a title when the user hovers on each source in the dropdown menu, that would be great - but I'm having trouble. The search widget puts all my sources into an unordered list, the html output looks like this: <div data-dojo-attach-point="sourcesNode" class="searchMenu sourcesMenu"> <ul role="menu"> <li data-index="0" role="menuitem" class="active" tabindex="0">Address</li> <li data-index="1" role="menuitem" class="" tabindex="0">Agreement</li> <li data-index="2" role="menuitem" class="" tabindex="0">Assets</li> <li data-index="3" role="menuitem" class="" tabindex="0">Lots</li> <li data-index="4" role="menuitem" class="" tabindex="0">Marine Reaches</li> <li data-index="5" role="menuitem" class="" tabindex="0">Marine Terminals</li> <li data-index="6" role="menuitem" class="" tabindex="0">Risk Rating</li> </ul> </div> I would think I could use some jquery, such as this, to access each <li> element and add a title: $( "ul li:nth-child(0)" ).attr('title', 'Type an address or intersection');
$( "ul li:nth-child(1)" ).attr('title', 'Type a tenant name or lot ID'); etc. This works for a simple html page (jsfiddle) but it's not working in my map. Something must be interacting with it but I'm not sure what...any ideas?

Hi Kelly, I'm not sure how to fit the above in with how I have things. I tried fitting things into this jsfiddle but it's not working. I've not encountered PopupTemplate before, how does it know to assign "template" to the PopupTemplate? Thanks for your help!

I'd like to change the popup window's zoomTo link functioning so that it zooms to the extent of the polygon/line feature rather than a zoom level. I'm not sure how to go about it though. Should I hide the current "zoom to" link and add my own? If so, how do I add something to the popup's actionsPane? Or can I somehow detach the current event listener and add a new custom one? I already have my function set up to zoom to the proper extent, just not sure how to override the current "zoom to" click event.

The ability to search multiple fields was added in 3.14. You use it as shown above - searchFields: ["DISTRICTID", "PARTY"] will search both the DISTRICTID and PARTY fields. Add these fields to the suggestion template as well to see them suggested in the dropdown while typing.

Hi, using polygon's getExtent() method, I'm getting xmin/ymin etc with coordinates I'm unable to identify. I'm working in the area of -123, 49.2, all my features are within a 100km radius of that point, but getting xmin, ymin, xmax, ymax looking like: -13703852.48, 6323231.08, -13703717.43, 6323601.12. Trying to print the spatialReference to the console just gives me [object Object] in both Chrome and IE. Can I convert these to my map units?

Aha I just got the first part of my question - line 66 of the fiddle specifies e.results[0], which is clearly the array of results from the first pushed source. I will work with that. But if you have any idea why the Locator is only returning one attribute that would be great.

Hi Robert, I tried to implement this, but I'm setting some sources for the Search widget to layers in my map. It seems only the attributes for the first source set are being sent to the InfoWindow (tested by changing which source is pushed first) - searching any other sources results in the InfoWindow saying "no information available", however results are being returned in the console (ie. search the Counties and type "Washington", the console says 31 results are found and their attributes can be seen there - jsfiddle). Also, I'm using a Locator for the address portion - it's not returning any attributes to the InfoWindow or the console other than "score". This seems odd since the attributes (ie. the full address) are popping up in the suggestion dropdown while you're typing in the search box. Also when using autoselect:true, the InfoWindow is populated with the result's full address. If you have any ideas about these two problems it would be much appreciated.
