I ran the enable feature binning tool on a SQL Feature Class and see in the layer properties that Feature Binning is enabled. However when I click on the layer with Feature Binning Layer enabled in the Contents Tab, Binning is disabled The data is in a 2D Map, but the message when hovering over "Binning", a message says it Binning is Currently Disabled. Bins cannot be displayed for layers in the 3D layers category What am I missing here? Thanks Mele

Graham We are having a similar issue. Our data is coming from an ArcGIS Server URL. https://opendata.arcgis.com/datasets/15c6c08aefe441648537b7f4630ef225_7.csv?outSR=%7B%22latestWkid%22%3A2223%2C%22wkid%22%3A2223%7D&url_only=true We never had this issue before. We have made some changes on the IT side here but so far nothing is raising red flags for our Network Engineers. Let me know if you have any suggestions. Here is our open data site. http://data-cos-gis.opendata.arcgis.com/ It works if I upload a shapefile and use a hosted feature layer. I do have a support case open but it is not uncovering much. Thanks, Mele

Kim, Each year I update this dashboard, I have to go back to the AGOL site and remember how I did it because off hand I don't know What I did was create Feature Layer that has all of our assigned areas by station and shift. This layer is used as a category selector where the values for match what is in the hydrants for assignment station and shift. An action is placed on the category selector that then filters the hydrants. Hope this process works for your dashboard. Mele

I have run into something similar going from 10.4.1 to 10.6.1 We run a batch file that has a .NET executable console application to update Feature Classes via Delete and then Append using Geoprocessing. It worked very consistently on 10.4.1 but not on 10.6.1 I have a support ticket in, but they are not able to replicate the issue on their end. I am running Windows 10. With have a batch server that is Server 2016 and it doesn't work on either. It does work on a 10.4.1 machine running Windows Server 2008 R2. Curious as to if any resolution was found to your issue. Thanks, Mele

We are moving our SQL Geodatabases from a Physical Machine to a Virtual Machine. The plan is to alias the new VM as the old Physical Server like we have done with many other SQL Servers. It seems this should work as well with Geodatabases. In the example below, the current instance is hpascarcdev. The new VM instance of SQL will have a new name, but with an Alias of hpascarcdev. The existing physical machine will be removed once this upgrade takes place. Thanks for any experiences that you can share.

Kylie, We are using the search and it is working for us. One thing we noticed is that it limits to the results to 12 in the dispatcher app. However on the worker app on the device, there does not appear to be a limit. Can the results returned be changed? Thanks

Aaron, Thanks for the quick response and giving me some ideas of where to go next. Is the Worker ID something that we could see in the Workers data? I guess what I am wondering is how the assignments are linked to the Worker This sounds promising and I will look into it more tomorrow.

Found this interesting. Is there a way to show the assignments assigned to a worker or the inverse. The Workers who have no assignments? We are using workforce to assign fire incidents at a golf tournament and it would be nice to be able to see those crew members who did not have any assignments. In workforce you can sort by assignment load, but that link does not seem to be in the web map. Below is the Workers Tab from WorkForce Thanks, Mele

Joshua - Thanks for reply. I am using SQL Server 2012 and am using the Append Tool in ArcGIS for the append. What I am trying to do is take a SQL view that has a Geometry field. and a DateTime field and convert the DateTime values to UTC for use in an Operations Dashboard. I created a Query Layer and within it used DateAdd in SQL to convert to UTC. From there I was going to save the Query Layer to an .lyr, but if I look at the Data Type of the .lyr in ArcMap, it is a Date and not DateTime as defined in SDE Feature Class. Mele

How can I get a Query Layer to show DateTime for the data type instead of Date? I am wanting to use a query layer to append to an SDE Feature class and if the format is Date, then the append process puts NULL instead of the Date. I have tried multiple ways in the SQL query in both ArcMap and ArcGIS but each time it shows as a Date Data Type in the Query Layer This SQL query did not work, ,CAST(DATEADD(second, DATEDIFF(second, GETDATE(), GETUTCDATE()), CreatedDate) AS DateTime2) AS CreatedDate Thanks Mele

Was wondering if since this has been posted if there has been any changes in Web App Builder. We are using the Batch Attribute Editor and in the past disable the point selection, but it seems to be working better. Better, but not great. Would still like to find a way to adjust the tolerance for our iPad users when they click on a hydrant for our hydrant review program. Thanks, Mele
