The ability to add data to an Exp would be really welcomed, imo. I'm just thinking of my end-user experience and , for a simple example, where a user may be looking at an asset but may also want to cross this with ownership titles. Would also be nice if there were category or group permissions available in the widget too. But first, an add data element please.

@RyanBohan This is possible, if you're referring just to features in the map extent as that extent changes. Create a card or something, insert a text box and connect it to your data. In the text box add a dynamic COUNT(). On the map, go to Actions, and set an action of extent change on the framework and select your feature layer. This will dynamically change the feature count in the text field. I quickly chucked an example on a map, here;

@RYANCARL The answer for this, for me, is yes it will. Where are you not seeing the update? If you're working in ExpB, you'll of course have to hit refresh. If you're viewing the published ExpB, then the likes of a legend is updated as you refresh the page. I've just added this; Giving an updated ExpB of In ExpB itself, once you've either refreshed the page or just opened it back up for editing; For me, everything works as I would expect. From your side of things, when you notice a new layer added to a web map, what are you seeing and what's your "refresh" process?

@OSADICKB You can do this by creating a list, with cards, and have the card image as a direct link to an attachment or a field.

@elpinguino So the dash I had allowed the update of a customer form. In the dash there was a list of issues, this list could be selected and that would call back the survey123 form. This was done by the list having the global id and the embed having the properly formatter survey123 url eg; https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/xxxxxxxxxxx?mode=edit&globalId={globalid}&version=latest I've not tried it yet like this in ExpB but I'm sure someone with far more knowledge than I will know if possible.

@elpinguino Excuse the questions, merely interested. Just thinking of your edits - is this editing Inspection Records, hence the related table? If so, how do you preserve the validity of the inspection record? I've used 123 in a dashboard before, this has allowed me to view an inspection record whilst only allowing the edit/update of "staff" fields. Was thinking of putting 123 into ExpB for a test to allow insurance claims to be logged.

@Anonymous User Hi, I don't know the answer, but really would like to know this too. I usually develop for a desktop environment, however, just completed my first "mobile only" exp and someone tried to load it on a desktop.

@Lee_Irminger Sorry for any silly questions in advance. So, your dashboards for each device type, are they just a "save as" of an original dash? It sounds as if, when creating the new dash you've removed/changed dependencies so the components are looking for info that's just not there. For example; an indicator takes data from a table or layer or relies on another component in the dash, creating your "device dash" has removed one of those supplying components therefore can't return a figure. This is why, when looking at the new dash out of ExpB it's broken too. I'd go back into the dashboards you've created and check the components don't rely on elements you've removed.

When creating cards, we have to create new items of a similar size by using a visual reference eg; a grid canvas, or, like ExpB, you can set size and padding params when creating a widget. Maybe even a simple duplicate card option too?

@DaveFullerton1 your map is down @jcarlson Yeah, hence my question about layering . I just put in the hex in my own creation, not taken from any existing template.

@Lee_Irminger If you're wanting to create an ExpB with dashboards, carefully think of what you want to show - think about breaking up the dashboard into component parts, think of the way you may want to change the exposed widgets for the three different types of device. eg: Big Dashboard West Highland Way IoT Project - Drymen & Gartness Community Data Dashboard (arcgis.com) Same dashboard but different user experience West Highland Way IoT Project - Footfall Sensor Data (arcgis.com)
