Julie, Yes, you are on the right path. The parameters you are filling in have to be tied to the logic you will use to do the analysis you are trying to run. Otherwise they are just parameters. If you are trying to run it in a web browser, you will need to publish the script to ArcGIS Server to be able to access it from the web. Regards, Tom

Karolina, You would have to make the layer in the web map editable and then re-add it to your WAB project. I just tested this and I could see the same message that you are seeing displayed. Regards, Tom

John, I looked through your code a bit and it looks like you set the selectedBusStops definition expression, but when you hit the home button, it is only setting the busStop definition expression. Could that be what is causing them still to display? Regards, Tom

Andrew, Here is a link to an app that was created by by Vinicius Machuca for a dev summit challenge. It has code that allows you to toggle through each direction. You can probably use it or modify the code to get the next direction for your app. 100-lines-or-less-js/PocketDirections at master · Esri/100-lines-or-less-js · GitHub Regards, Tom

Johannes, In the context of Web App Builder, it is very dependent on the device being used. WAB is using the JavaScript API's LocateButton which gets position information from navigator.geolocation specification. So on an iPhone it would be getting a GPS feed that would be further improved with a WiFi connection. The iPhone could be connected to a higher quality GPS unit via bluetooth and get even better quality positioning. You can find more information about the navigator.geolocation specification at: Geolocation API Specification Regards, Tom

Julie, The iBus app used queries to map services of feature classes. But I do have another app the calls a geoprocessing script. The python geoprocessing script creates a parcel map PDF when a link or button is clicked for the related parcel being displayed. Regards, Tom

Rebecca, I started ArcGIS Pro this morning and no expiration message. I checked the licenses and they now show 3/31/2016! It actually did just roll up the new expiration automagically. It would be nice to not show the expiration message leading up to the date especially when the date has been extended. It makes it seem like I needed to take some action. Best Regards, Tom

Yovav, Thanks very much for the idea. I initially thought that might be the problem, but my license administrator says that my ArcGIS licenses are permanent. Also, I don't recall ArcGIS Pro ever asking for the location of my license server. How would it know where to check? Regards, Tom
