Lance, Thanks for the information and I realize there are a lot of factors in play. However, almost every point that was collected for a second time are almost exactly 0.80 to 1.5 meter distance from each other. Seems like something else could be the case, I am going to import the original data without post-processing and see what results I get. I just think with a centimeter grade equipment, in spots with little to no tree cover, and post-processing it should be closer than this.

Hello everybody, I was collecting water meters and happened to collect a few of the same points that were collected months ago. All the points that I recollected are almost exactly a meter away from the original points collected. These points were collected with the same equipment (Trimble R2 unit). All data was post-processed (real-time not available due to lack on internet connection) 1.) How can I verify which point has the better accuracy? - I plan to do another field visit in the near future, would using the same equipment to view the points be the best plan? I fear it will just align with my recent gathered point, and won't tell me the truth to the accuracy. I can put the map on my iPad with internet connection and check that way? 2.) Is there an alternative to check the accuracy of the points without going out in the field? 3.) How to ensure my unit is collecting accurate for the future? I have collected a point and compared to control point before, is this the best way to check accuracy? Thank you all

Yes, I have my range values created and set, and when I play on the range slide it works well enough. I just want to know how I record this animation without additional program with a on-screen recorder. I only have one keyframe, is it possible to play the range and record it?

All I want to do is have all my features appear on a map consecutively (which I have already done using a consecutive python script) in an animation. When I click the play button on the "Range Slider" it executes how I would like it to. However, it is only on one Keyframe and so when I go to export the movie it is simply just a still image of my map. Is there an easy way to export the video based off of when I click the play button for the Range Slider? A record button of some sort? Or do I have to make a bunch of keyframes based off every step interval? (That would be very time consuming) Thank you!

When using this method of downloading map, is there a way to change the coordinate system? Or does all your features have to be in Web Mercator Auxillary Sphere? Really want to use this as basemap but change to Stateplane, and the project raster/other methods are not working.

Hello everybody, I am wanting to download my map with the NAIP imagery for Kentucky to a mobile map package, but the layer type is not supported in runtime content. I am using the KY server, and am unable to download the NAIP imagery from the server which I suspected. Does the USDA make this data free/accessible? I have searched and have not found where I can have a download of it and allow the use for a mobile package. IF NOT, is there a good aerial imagery substitute that I can use for offline use (need a good basemap). Thank you!

1.) Is Explorer completely free? Work with small water systems and some of the systems will really only use it for viewing, and if so do they need a ArcGIS account to access? I was hoping I could make the map, and share it with them while not making it public so everybody can't see their assets without them being apart of our organization. Is this possible? 2.) What's the best workflow to get an already made ArcGIS PRO map onto both the desktop and mobile version of explorer for viewing purposes and keeping symbology/design etc.. Update: I realized making a mobile map package was quite easy and could view it on my ipad! although that is within my organization, and I am having problems trying to find how to open this same mobile map package on the desktop explorer? Thank you!

I am wanting to get the region layout inserted inside my existing map (to show it at a state level) like this article. Make a layout—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop Reading the article, I do not have a "region" choice to insert a map, screenshot provided. How do I get the region view to become one of the dropdow n options? Thanks!

Hey Malcolm, I am in Kentucky. I will say I like to create a file geodatabase and then convert that into a shapefile for intended uses such as transferring it over to QGIS. I think it's good to have a shapefile copy of the file geodatabases but fGDB are the way to go for many reasons such as collection and organization/processing data.

Hello everybody, I have a map on ArcGIS Pro that is a rather simple map with a bunch of stars "point features" and I would like to make a quick animation making all the stars (point features) appear one at a time in no specific sequence. Is this possible to do with any ArcGIS functions or extensions? Thinking something like what you can with Powerpoint, or if any of you know a good way to convert the graphics with locations to use a separate program such as PowerPoint please let me know! Thank you all.

Oh okay that's what I planned on doing! Thank you Dan. Last question, is there an easy way to add 0's and 1's to the field quickly for over 400 points within ArcGIS Pro? Otherwise, would I export the table into excel add them and then reimport it (just wanna make sure the spatial context/longtitude &latitude) are saved). Thanks!

That sounds like a plan, I'm sorry I am new to GIS, could you tell my what that query would look like? Also how is the workflow accomplished? As in do I go under symbology then hit expression builder? Would the query be SELECT * FROM [CustomerMeter] WHERE [Address] IS NULL

What would be the easiest way to make another field with 0's for all the Null values and 1's for all the other addresses? I'm thinking I will just do graduated colors symbology instead
