I also had numerous issues with V 1.2, the busy/working icon would not go away, widget editing and functionality were not working. Had to do numerous refreshes to get a response. I have been having issues with 1.2 with map freezing, widgets unresponsive etc etc. After contact with ESRI support it was determined that the problems I'm facing are due to Internet Explorer (v10). I still have an issue that WAB developer 1.2 loads but freezes and needs numerous refreshes in edit mode before I can do anything like add a widget or turn off/on layers. I am having same issues with widgets and actual map loading in WAB 1.2 developer while editing map. It is slow and needing constant refreshing. Once map deployed to server it seems fine.
