You can add segment nodes by simply clicking on the connector lines, but you still do not have the choice to choose a type of routing. Hi, Carel Kotze Is it possible to share your model and your data sample? The default output of the iterator is 1 because, before it has run there is no way to know what the value will be. Especially when you are making generic models with undefined variable values or data types there is no way to connect the output of the iterator to the downstream tools if it has absolutely no information. If I could see the model snapshot with the tool dialog of the tools both iterator and the Make Feature Layer that would help solve this. Hi Jamal, We use a third party diagramming package and currently they have a bug/gap with links and routing. Hello All, I understand there is a bit of confusion and a bit of bug mixed together here on this thread. A model can be run:    1. by editing a model and running within a model view (Any output you need to be added to display needs to have the right click>Add to Display checked)   2. you can run a model by double clicking a model and running it from the model tool dialog in geoprocessing pane.   Only the outputs that are model parameters are added to map. (add to display option set on parameter through edit mode does not work here)     - if your output is intermediate/output of an in-between tool (and not terminal) and is not a model parameter the output will be deleted currently after the model runs from the tool dialog in gp pane.    - all outputs are added to display now hence the backend option to check "add the results of geo....to display" has been removed.    - if you are running from within a model and add to display is not being honored - that is because of add to display related bug which is not working in few cases such as for network layers, stand alone table. We will fix these bugs in the next release. - @Simon Jackson - What is the data type of the output that you are creating and is not adding to map inspite of being a model parameter? Please advise!    - if this does not resolve please do share your model and a sample of your data (if possible) or a snapshot of your model. We will try our best to answer. Ok.. I see the gdb now. So, from the model tool dialog what do you want your users to see? All four ai. lakes, majorroads and nha as a list and for them to pick one or two? Or just show them a subset say air and lakes and for them to pick one or both? Do these names change? You just want the user to pick a name which looks cleaner on the dialog like Air and Lakes instead of browsing to c_air and c_Lakes? Why I am asking all these is to figure out if you can accomplish this using the value list filter and calculate value tool. Can you pass a predetermined list on the tool ui and then after the user picks one or more from that predetermined list you just pass them and link them in the model to the correct raster dataset. ... Ok. Wait.. lets rethink... So you have all your rasters in one workspace or separate workspaces? theme.gdb = soil.gdb? If all are in one, do all soil rasters have something in their name to identify them as soil rasters? or foresty rasters? Is this list of rasters a static list or changes every week or month or ... Hi Justin, Thanks for writing back to me via the multivalue choice list blog. If you know a little bit of python for sure you can tweak the script in this blog to populate the raster dataset list. My script works on a table and asks for a field. It then populates all the unique values of the field for a user to check on the tool dialog. What you would need to do is: ask for a workspace, Ask for a data type you want to show, then in the tool validation code (All the magic is there in tool validation - right click tool>properties>Validation Tab>Edit). Read all the datasets in that workspace that match the format you asked on the tool dialog and populate them. No need for frequency as all dataset names will be unique. Try this: Write the output of the Raster Calculator to in_memory/outRaster%Value% (if your rasters are not too big) then add the Copy Raster tool after that. Connect the output of the raster calculator as input to the copy raster tool. Let the output of the copy raster be something like this: C:/Temp.gdb/CopyRaOut. Do not use %Value% her.
