The calculation looks good. I think the issue is that the calculation doesn't like null values. If you set a default for the category fields it should work. No defaults: With 0 as default: You might also run into an issue with the filter you have applied on the indicators, since you have them set to only sum the field in records where all_cat_project_cost is null.

If the Excel table and the shapefile both have the same "Precinct ID" field you should be able to join the two tables based on that field. Right click on the shapefile layer in the Table of Contents and go to Joins & Relates -> Join -> Join attributes from a table. Some potentially useful documentation: ArcGIS Pro: Overview of joins and relates—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop ArcMap: About joining and relating tables—Help | ArcGIS Desktop How To: Join an Excel spreadsheet (.xls) to a feature class in ArcMap

It does seem like the values aren't being calculated correctly. Can you see the calculated values if you click "Show data table"?

For number fields in your survey, you should be able to display the sum in an indicator element by selecting Sum as the statistic and choosing the target field.

As long as the legend hasn't been converted to graphics and the symbols aren't being scaled based on a reference scale, symbols in the legend should scale to match the symbol size selected.

You can add it in ArcGIS Pro through your portal, as detailed in this thread: Vector basemaps in ArcMap or Pro?. Unfortunately, vector basemaps aren't supported in ArcMap. Vector tile basemap will not display in ArcMap.

The Terrain With Labels basemap allows you to turn off all labels, as does the Oceans basemap (this doesn't seem to be a default basemap in ArcGIS Pro, but you can add it from this URL: Ocean/World_Ocean_Base (MapServer)).

I think currently if you want to publish a feature service in ArcGIS Pro so that it's hosted on your own servers you'll need an Enterprise Portal so that you can publish to one of your portal's federated servers. Layers published to your portal's federated servers—Portal for ArcGIS | ArcGIS Enterprise The ability to publish to a standalone ArcGIS Server should be coming this year, however: ArcGIS Pro Publish Services To ArcGIS Server As we are finalizing ArcGIS Pro 2.3 and ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7, we are unfortunately falling a bit short of our original goals for the features related to publishing from Pro to a standalone ArcGIS Server. With ArcGIS Pro 2.3, it will be possible to publish map services (and related capabilities like feature services) to a standalone ArcGIS Server. Publishing will be via Python scripting only, i.e. via arcpy-based scripts. This is not everything that was originally planned and we will continue to add additional functionality in future releases of ArcGIS Pro. For ArcGIS Pro 2.4, due later in 2019, we plan to have a full publishing user experience within ArcGIS Pro in addition to the scripting-based experience being introduced in ArcGIS Pro 2.3 here in January. After Pro 2.3, we also plan on adding support for publishing other service types beyond map services including image services, geoprocessing services, and more.

I don't think there's a way to do calculations within Operations Dashboard. There are a couple ideas related to this: Arcade Expressions in Operation Dashboard Arcade Expression in Ops Dashboard List Widget You could calculate the value within Survey123. If you're just looking to sum three values, the formula you want would be something like this: ${cat_c_project_cost} + ${cat_d_project_cost} + ${cat_g_project_cost} The sum() function is used to calculate the sum of the responses to a question that uses repeats.

That definitely sounds like something Survey123 could be suited for. I don't know about specific examples, but there are a number of Survey123 tutorial videos online that might be useful: Survey123 for ArcGIS: An Introduction - YouTube Survey123 for ArcGIS: Advanced Topics - YouTube Survey123 for ArcGIS: Tips and Tricks - YouTube What's New in Survey123 for ArcGIS - YouTube Extending Survey123 for ArcGIS - YouTube A playlist of shorter, more specific videos: Survey123 - YouTube

This documentation describes how to set up cascading selects and has a downloadable sample: Cascading and external selects—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS In your case, it sounds like you'll want four select_one questions with one (parish) having a choice filter. For example: type name relevant choice_filter select_one region region select_one parish parish region = ${region} select_one area area ${parish} != '' select_one habitat habitat ${area} != '' On the choices tab, you'd add a column for region and enter the region for each parish. That way when users select a region the choice filter will look in the choices tab and filter the options to only show those list options whose region field matches the user's region selection. The "relevant" field expressions are set up to only show those questions if the preceding question has been answered (value is not empty).

Yeah, Python seems like the way to go here. It's strange that in Arcade <Null> table values return true from the IsEmpty() function, but null itself returns 0 back to the table.
