Hi I have one very big TIFF file which I want to seperate into many small tiff files. Is there a easy way to do so in ArcGIS 10.1? I saw the tiled map service functions but I am not sure if they do exactly what I need. I am sure there is a very easy way to do so. Thanks

Xander Bakker thought of that as well but as I use data driven pages I cannot change the settings for the extend. I also tried to set the extend to "fixed extend" before creating the DDP, but it still will Switch to Current Data Driven Page and move around within the extend

Thanks, I managed to get the desired layout. However, when I generate the 600 maps, all the maps are just somewhere random within the data frame. Is there a way to have all the maps at the same position, like in the center of the map page?

Thank you FC Basson and Xander Bakker I read the Information but I could not figure on how to create these maps when I have one Shapefile with several different species in it. Is there a way to show each species seperately with the same map extend map with several other layers together like forest or water bodies? Also I could not set the size to A7.

Thank you! I am not quite sure how to handle the second and third field Trim(Mid(Split( [SURVEY_ID] , "-")(2), 1 resp. the 3rd field InStr(Split( [SURVEY_ID] , "-")(2), "(") - 1)) I guess SURVEY_ID has to be replaced with the original sourcefield Name? . I see what trim and mid do but not what the (2), 1 stands for? Also i get an error when I try to run it in the field calculator..

I have an Attribute table with several attributes One of the attributes has the fields K1-10-11 K1-10-46 K1-10-46c K1-10-67d (street) I Need all of the elements from the field as seperate attributes eg an Attribute with K1 K1 K1 another with 10 10 10 and a last one with 11 46 46c 67d (without text) I cannot do this manually. Is there a way to do this in ArcGIS 10.1 ? Furthermore I am wondering if it is possible to connect attribute tables with Excel tables without loading the Excel tables (csv) into ArcGIS? Thanks!

Hello, I have two roadnetwork shapefiles which represent the same roadnetwork but are acquired with different methodes and therefore are not on top each other. One Network has Information about the road pavement (coloured shapefile) and I want this Information to be on the other road Network (red shapefile). Is there a Methode on how to do so? A buffer or nearest neighbours does not work because the road intersections will get wrong pavements (see attached Picture) Thanks!
