Like Josh said, if you automate this, I would add a reconcile at the end to get all the versions at the same state of the data. If you have multiple editors, then having them reconcile (not post) during the day would be best. Here is a similar workflow to look at: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/geodatabases/overview/the-version-editing-process.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_1C03A896762346179AA7DC6E6A32D02F (I know it is for traditional versioning) but the reconcile / posting part is still helpful.

You may want to look at installing this patch for Chromium based browsers: https://support.esri.com/en-us/patches-updates/2024/portal-for-arcgis-application-display-patch

Just for awareness, Enterprise 10.8.1 is about to enter Mature support tomorrow (8/1/2024): https://support.esri.com/en-us/products/arcgis-enterprise/life-cycle I would highly recommend looking to install at least 10.9.1 or newer...... You can check the ports with telnet: https://www.wikihow.com/Check-if-a-Port-Is-Opened I would recommend binding the SSL cert before install / configuration of ArcGIS Enterprise. Will prevent future SSL issues and rework; https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/portal/10.8/administer/windows/enable-https-on-your-web-server-portal-.htm Hope this helps!

That should be the correct version. You may want to contact Esri Technical support to work with them on this issue.

Looking at this doc: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/geodatabases/manage-postgresql/setup-geodatabase-postgresql-linux.htm you only need to place the st_geometry file in that location. Did you download the file from My Esri or somewhere else?

So this does not happen while in the office and only on VPN? This usually has to do with TNSNAMES not being accessible or configured on the machine. Have you confirmed that you can TNSPING the Oracle database from that machine? Open SQLPlus and type the below. Replace (SID) with what you put in the "Instance" field. tnsping (SID) https://www.orafaq.com/wiki/Tnsping

Ok, may want to check. Many people set it up during initial configuration and forget about it 🙂

Just curious.... do you have your utility services set to Online from your Enterprise; https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/portal/latest/administer/windows/configure-services.htm? If you saved credentials, I think that it may be passing those if someone in your org used the geocoder.

That makes sense. I would think that the .sde connection would work with most GP tool available. The OLE DB connection would have limited functionality with tools.

I would connect as the .SDE connection if using Python in Pro. I think this would provide you the easiest user experience. I am not sure what the difference is between the 2 are, but usually only make .sde connections to non-geodatabases in SQL Server. Just know that there are some limits to what can be done via ArcGIS client and .sde connections to non-geodatabases: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/databases/databases-and-arcgis.htm

Are you trying to locate someone in Esri? Did you work with someone in Esri to create this? If so, who? I think we need some more information / context to help with this.

This is where I recommend working with technical support on this. They have the mechanism to reproduce the issue and the process for logging potential issues. @MarlonAmaya any thoughts on getting this investigated?
