Hi there, It is because WebGL is used to draw layers at version 4.10. We will look into adding this support at future release. Thanks, -Undral

Hi there, We changed the behavior you are describing at 4.10 to be consistent with other ArcGIS products. At version 4.10, the markers are screen-aligned, so if an arrow points straight up, when the map is rotated, it will continue to point straight up. Similarly if an angle is applied to the arrow to make it point to the right then as the map is rotated, it will continue to point to the right. The one exception to this rule is when a rotation is present in Visual Variables at which point, the marker will point in the map-aligned direction specified by the visual variables. Hope this helps, -Undral

Hi there, I am sorry if I am following description of the issue. But I am not able to see the issue you are describing with 4.10 with vectortiles + the mapimagelayer you referenced. Here is a codepen app that has topo vector tiles and the mapimagelayer you referenced: VectorTileLayer - 4.10 I do not see the issue you described.

Hi there, Sketching is still not available in 3D at 4.10. But we are looking into adding sketching capabilities in 3D for future release.

Hi there, Yes you can add and use VectorTileLayer in SceneView as long as the layer meets the following requirements: 1. VectorTileLayer's spatialReference must match the SceneView's spatialReference. 2. VectorTileLayer's tiling scheme has to match ArcGIS online tiling scheme. 3. VectorTileLayer's tile size has to be 512x512. Here is a simple app that uses VectorTileLayer that meets all requirements mentioned above. Hope this helps, -Undral

Hi there, So the issue is not in the implementation FeatureLayer.addAttachment. It appears that enterprise featureservices require the form have very specific inputs with certain names. The form needs to have file input type named "attachment" and hidden text named "f" and its value needs to be "json" as shown below: <form id="myForm">
Select a file: <input type="file" name="attachment">
<input type="hidden" name="f" value="json">
</form>
So I have updated the test app to use enterprise featureservice and updated the form. The app now works. We will update the JS API doc for FeatureLayer.addAttachment to reflect these requirements for enterprise services.

Hi there, It is an expected behavior at 4.9. TileLayer.sublayers property was added at 4.9. So you have to set the TileLayer.listMode to hide-children to not show the sublayers information as shown below: var layer = new TileLayer({
url: "https://sit5.sistemigis.it/sit/rest/services/Demo/DemoCache/MapServer",
title: "Tile layer",
listMode: "hide-children"
});

Hi there, Will you be able to share your service with me? Seems like maybe related to the feature service. I created a simple sample where I am using addAttachment() method. The method behaves as expected in this app. To use this app, first choose a file to attach, then click on a feature to attach the file. Please also have the browser console open.

Hi there, If it worked it is by chance because Draw.create did not support creation of rectangle, circle and ellipses until version 4.7. SegmentDrawAction | API Reference | ArcGIS API for JavaScript 4.9 was introduced at 4.7. SegmentDrawAction supports creation of rectangles, squares, circles and ellipses so developer must decide what shapes they are creating based on vertices being returned from the events of this class.

Hi there, I quickly looked at the attached code. The code would have never worked as long as you were trying to create rectangle. I would suggest you use SketchViewModel as the code will be much simpler as it creates the rectangle for you. If you are creating a rectangle using draw, you have to do the math to create the rectangle geometry. I created an app that creates a rectangle using Draw.create("rectangle"). But as you can see you as a developer are responsible for creating the geometry as user drags the mouse. The test app probably needs lots of improvement but should give you an idea. Draw a rectangle app

What Robert suggested will work. However, SketchViewModel uses GraphicsLayer and GraphicsLayer generalizes geometries. If you are storing these polygon geometries in a FeatureLayer, you have to make sure that these geometries are not generalized (if it is important to you). You may have to use FeatureLayer.queryFeatures to get the geometries from the server and have your end user interact with geometries returned from the server.

Yes it will. The issue is not in the code. This issue is because the return type for FeatureLayer.queryAttachments is wrongly documented. It does not return array instead it returns an object.
