Hi I'm trying to install the conda package for "arcgis for python" with those command line : conda install -c conda-forge ipywidgets conda install -c esri arcgis=0.1 But I'm still having : Could not connect to https://conda.anaconda.org/conda-forge/noarch/ Could not connect to https://conda.anaconda.org/esri/win-64/ I'm succeed to download those package manually. arcgis-0.1-py35_0.tar.bz2 ipywidgets-5.1.5-py35_0.tar.bz2 How to install/deploy them nanually ? best regards

Hi, You can use Portal fior ArcGIS without Acount and be able to search and use public Items. Or you can use Portal for ArcGIS with an Organization account as a User, as a Publisher ou as an Administrator. The User role defines Search And Use public items, Search And Use private items, Create And Share items. I created a ligther role based on the Viewer role named "light user". A ligth user can be a member of a group, search and use public items, search and use private items of its organization. Well it's very close to what you can do if you are not authentified. But the difference is that you consume a "named" user. Then how to use a login widget in my web apps, and having light user who not consume "named" use ?

Hi thanks for your answer. But my purpose was to be able to symbolize my track with a color based on my Heart Rate value. ArcGIS Olnie is very close to doing that. It needs just an upgade of the GPX driver ! best regards

Hi I add a similar issue when I was to install the web adaptor on a linux machine. First I had to check the output messages of tomcat. It was saying that a property file was not found. In fact, the web adaptor wanted to create a file named webadaptor.config in a .webadaptor directory. Something like : ~tomcat/.webadaptor/webadaptor.config I a had to create this directory first, add the full permission then restart tomcat. You should face to similar issue : you need to add a permission. xav

Hi and thanks for your response. I finally succeed to import OSM file, a terrain and generate textured buildings. But I had some troubles and I needed to restart the process several times... sometime the terrain didnot appears sometime it was due to the OSM fields I've selected.... I succeed to display the buildings on google earth. Now I want to export the buidings to unity : my scene uses an UTM projection but my unity scene uses its own. Best way is to export like a KML but unity do not import officialy KML. Then I just want to write a file during the export containing the name of the objet and the offset parameter. Is there some examples of export script doing such thing ? Best regards

Hi We use a Globe with relief generated by SRTM and visualized with Unity3D (as Google Earth ...). We are now looking to add 3D buildings. I have seen many examples on the web using CityEngine and OpenStreetMap datas. I wonder what is the best way to proceed : Importing OSM and SRTM into Unity3D Or Importing OSM ans SRTM into a FileGeoDatabse via ArcGIS Desktop then Importing the FileGeodatabse ino cityEngine. I saw that there is some trouble using WGS84 (no projection) into city Engine 2013 from a GeoDatabase. Then I need to use an UTM projection. I wonder if I could reproject the 3d Building in WGS84 once generated. (via ArcGIS desktop I suppose) I wonder also if there could be some issue importing the building on a globe. Because all sample I saw from cityEngine was on a local coordinate system. Best regards.

Should it be possible to use ImageServiceIdentifyLayer in order to obtain the elevation from an Image Service. But How to create a LocalImageService ???? I look forward to read the release notes of 10.2 !

Hi I'm using ArcGIS Desktop 10.0 and try to add a NITF image with python script in a Catalog Raster. My sample is ns3361c.nsf from http://www.gwg.nga.mil/ntb/baseline/software/testfile/Nitfv2_1/scen_2_1.html . But when I check the spatial reference , ArcGIS Desktop tells me that there is no spatial reference. I could display the image in the dataframe (but without spatial reference) which contains 4 subdataset. gdalinfo.exe tells me that this image has WGS84 as a spatial reference. How could I obtain the spatial reference of my image with arcgis desktop ? Do I need to install a specific plug-in ? xavier

Hi I want to display a DTED/STRM file on a client developped with ArcGIS API for Silverligth. If I design a widget/gadget which is able to modify de the colormap. How could I display a DTED with a specific colormap ? If the DTED is publish as a map service, it not possible to send the colormap to the request. Do I need to use Image Server ? Or Is it possible to associate the colormap before the drawing ? best regards.

Hi I had the same error after changing the port of ArcGIS Server to 8399. I had to change the rest.config file and modify in it the port section and reverproxyport? and other section that deals with URL. xav
