So when the request is set to the home application, for example, and the home application is making requests to dojo.js and other pages, the response is a 403. But if you take that same request on the same browser, (new tab, for example), the request returns a 200?

The tile cache data store also supports incremental backups, there's just no explicit command to enable them like there is for the relational data store. Are you setting INCLUDE_SCENE_TILE_CACHES to False in the properties file for incremental backups?

You are likely running into BUG-000134656 When stopping the ArcGIS Server service, all ArcSOC.exe (SOC-Processes) are not removed and do not stop running Which is resolved at 10.9.1.

The documentation on registering a folder with an organization doesn't explicitly call out any particular platform, but it's applicable to any platform. You'll need a network share that is accessible to all nodes and on AKS, you can achieve this using Azure Files.

Portal is acting as both active/standby as well as active/active. Each web server can take and respond to requests, however there is a primary database that is automatically replicated to the standby.

Almost all of the requests to portal complete quickly. There are some that would take time, like reindexing, perhaps some addItem requests, but ultimately, if the portal handling the request goes down, the other portal machine does not know about the request and will not continue it.

When you installed, you used different paths for the "default content directory" path? If so, you'll need to reinstall on your joining machine. Your original machine doesn't need to be modified. The other approach is use the DR tool instead of joinSite, since the directories don't need to match.

If you check the network traffic, do you see a 302? If so, what does the Location header return? Sounds like your LB may be updating the Location header incorrectly.

The spatiotemporal Data Store on Windows and Linux supports hosted feature data. However, in ArcGIS on Kubernetes, it only stores logs and indexes for now. Can you point out where in the documentation it indicates it stores hosted feature data as well? We'll want to remove that until it actually does support it.

If you signed into the Server Admin API and go to security > config, does it show ARCGIS_PORTAL or GIS_SERVER for the Authentication Tier property? It should show GIS_SERVER. If it shows ARCGIS_PORTAL, go to Update at the bottom and set it to GIS_SERVER.
