Tim Witt, OK here is what I found. By default Github pages do not publish files with certain file name structures. I found this document to explain and give a work around. Files that start with an underscore are missing - User Documentation I don't really know what jekyll is, but I put in a .nojekyll file (the .nojekyll file is blank) in the root of the repository. I added it to the gh-pages branch too but for some reason it did not take. I deleted the gh-pages branch and recreated it and it looks to be working now. -Stan

Tim Witt I created a new map in WAB 1.1 and downloaded it from the builder. Then I opened the zip file and copied everything to a new repository on Github. I then created a gh-pages branch and then went to the url Github WAB v1.1 test and everything loaded right in (I believe you may have to wait a minute or two while the service get created for you). Here is that github page esri-WAB-11-test/index.html at gh-pages · smcshinsky/esri-WAB-11-test · GitHub -Stan

Tim Witt, I think you are right. I will take another look at it but I believe that WAB was version 1.0. -Stan

typically you configure and enable pop ups through AGOL web map. I am assuming you are adding this layer after the map is loaded? -Stan

Tim Witt I am by no means an expert on github. I just tried this out and it worked for me. I uploaded my web app builder files to a new repository and then just added a new branch called gh-pages. It took a few seconds but now I have it hosted on github. Here is my example. smcshinsky/esri-WAB-StreetViewPopup · GitHub Street View Popup - WAB -Stan

Rickey, Yeah I am aware of the time slider, but it is not very user friendly when you try to pick out specific dates. I like the idea of filtering through multiple attributes. That would be very helpful. Do you have a working demo of your floor switcher? The chart would just be a bonus. -Stan

Does anyone have a widget that allows you to pick a date range from a calender to limit features on the map? For example I want to have some crime data on a map and have the user select a date range to show on the map. It would also then be nice to make it work with a chart widget. Thanks for any help. -Stan

Nart Tamash When you load a map in a web page it loads the basemap first. All of the levels of detail (LOD) and extents are now set for the map. If you now change basemaps then your new basemap probably does not line up with the old one because of the different LOD and extents. It probably still adds it to the map but in a place where it is not usable and probably hidden due to the LODs. There is no projecting a basemap on the fly because it sets parameters for the entire map. Your data will project on the fly because the map now has a projection to convert from and project to. My guess as to why AGOL works is that it reloads the entire map object upon switching. Best guess. -Stan
