Hi Lea, Map Tour is designed to accept a web map id that has your tour points. The appid you are referring to in the code isn't the id of a web mapping application item, it's an appid that you get when you register your app on ArcGIS online. See the link below for more details. Add items—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS Could you please provide a bit more detail about what you are trying to do by feeding in another app to Map Tour? Owen

Hi Ashley, That's not configurable; the text layout will change based on the screen size and length of the content. Owen

Whenever you create a story map from My Content or by sharing a web map and clicking Create a Web App you have the choice to create the story map in any of your folders. If you create the story map from the story map website the story will go in your Home folder, but you can always move it later using the tools in My Content that let you manage your items. Owen

Hi Naomi, The relationship between your story map app and ArcGIS Online web maps is the same as it is with Web AppBuilder or other ArcGIS configurable apps. When you create a specific story map from one of the app templates your story map is stored in My Content as a Web Mapping Application item just like those other apps. If you want to have a "default version" of your story map that starts with your logo, links, and other branding you need to download the source code of the app or apps you want to make a template for from GitHub, make the customizations you want (you'll need to understand HTML and CSS to do this), and then host it yourself on your own web server. After doing that you can follow the steps in the "part 2" blog post I shared above to add your customized story map template as an item that anyone in your organization can select when they create a web app from the web app template gallery. Esri is planning to add more features to ArcGIS Online and configurable apps to make it easier to brand your apps in the future, but we don't have any specifics or timeline for these features at this time. Hi Lauren, At this time, that configuration is only possible if you download and customize the app code. Here's a blog post that describes how to do it: https://developerscorner.storymaps.arcgis.com/add-context-to-story-map-journal-with-an-index-map-ccc3c8ca12b5#.v3xyf376k Owen

Hi Joe, Map Tour always uses a feature service for the tour points, but that service needs to follow the map tour schema and have specific fields that are present to provide the required information to the app. If you go to the in-app Help (a button in the header), then to the Data tab, and scroll down to the section Using an existing Feature Service or Shapefile you'll find information about using existing services for a map tour. Hi Eninna, The numbers are always there in the current version of Map Tour hosted on ArcGIS Online. If you download the app from GitHub and host it yourself you could customize the app and provide unnumbered icons. We are planning to update Map Tour later this year with one or more new layouts and also plan to add an option to have unnumbered tour points. Here's a preview of what one of the new layouts might look like (with unnumbered points): On the Brink: the Sixth Great Extinction Owen

Hi Pam, Yes, Thomas's solution does work. I've had an unpublished blog post for a while that I've shared privately with a few people who have asked this question. Since this keeps coming up I figured I should just publish it, so a link is below. The article describes the details of how to use AGO Assistant to copy items and edit JSON to copy a story map and all assets from one Organization or Portal to another and get it working. https://medium.com/@OwenGeo/how-do-i-copy-a-story-map-from-one-organization-or-portal-to-another-440586dffdf1 GeoJobe also has a nice tool called Admin Tools for ArcGIS Online that's available in the ArcGIS Marketplace, and the Pro version of that tool will clone applications from one place to another without the messy JSON editing.
