Hi Adam, Sorry you are having an issue with your story. Something may have gone wrong with that panel. If you are able to share the story publicly and send me the URL, we can take a look and try to see what happened. Did you possibly paste in text from somewhere else? If so, can you let me know what source you were copying from? I'd recommend deleting all the text from that panel and starting again. If that doesn't work I would create a new view. Owen

Hi Kenneth, Looks like <hr> is not a tag that is supported by ArcGIS Online (Supported HTML—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS), so it only works in stories that are not based on a feature service (that is, where you haven't uploaded your own photos in the Map Tour Builder). If you can create your map tour from photos that are already online (e.g., Flickr) you'll be able to use that horizontal line tag. Owen

Hi Cyrus, Sorry you are having trouble building your story. Can you please provide some additional information about how you are adding the scene and what is not working as expected? You should be able to add scenes that are not shared publicly (from your content or your organization) to your story when you are authoring it. Maps and scenes are listed together in the Cascade media picker and you should see any scenes you have permission to view. Owen

Hi Rebekke, Thanks for your feedback. We're working to add more text formatting capabilities in the future including the ability to choose text color. Underlining and bold (as well as italics and strikethrough) are currently available -- if you highlight some text you'll see a formatting menu where these options can be selected. You can also choose from a few different sizes by accessing the paragraph formatting options -- click the circle to the left of the active paragraph and choose H1 or H2 to make the text larger. Toggle those options off to go back to regular-sized text. I hope this is helpful. Please check out this blog for more on building sequential sections in a Cascade story: Using the Story Map Cascade Builder: Sequential Sections | ArcGIS Blog Owen

Hi Kenneth, Here's the code used in that story, let me know if this helps you troubleshoot what's going wrong in your case: New wave Mexican restaurant in the upscale new Headquarters, an adaptive re-use of a historic police station. Lively, interesting space with large patio. Tuesday evening deals on tacos & drinks are popular with locals. There's a small museum opposite where you can go into one of the building's original cell blocks. <a href="http://www.eatpuesto.com " style="color:red" target="_blank">Website</a><br><hr><font size="2">Neighborhood: <b>Marina District</b><br>789 West Harbor Drive in The Headquarters</font><br><font size="1" color="Grey"><i>Photo: Courtesy of Jaime Partners/Christopher W. Hi Innisfree, Thanks for your feedback. We are planning to provide the option of configuring the contribution form in the future so you can add and label additional fields to collect other information from your participants. Owen

Oops! Just kidding -- I noticed that your provided a link to the story builder (with "&edit" on the end), which is why it was prompting me to log in. I viewed your story and see what you mean. Yes, on mobile there is an "Explore" button in the lower right that you need to tap to be able to interact with your web content. This is displayed on mobile even if you choose "interaction enabled" in the media configuration panel so there's no conflict with navigating the story or the web content. Owen

Hi Janine! Your story or some content inside it isn't shared, so I can't see it. Can you share everything publicly so I can view it to help troubleshoot your issue? Owen

Hi Alan, Reading geotags from photos is absolutely on our roadmap for Story Map Crowdsource. It may not get in for the next release in Sept, but we hope to add it by the end of the year. Owen

Hi Andrew, Sorry, that layer list is just for configuring your visible layers; it's not meant to be a legend. We're considering adding a configuring option to show a legend in a future release. I'd recommend taking a screenshot of the legend in the arcgis.com map viewer (or creating your own graphic) and insert that image in your narrative panel. Owen

Innisfree, I should have also mentioned this article that describes how to change the text on the form. This lets you prompt contributors for specific information in the fields you have available in the beta app. https://developerscorner.storymaps.arcgis.com/how-to-personalize-your-crowdsource-story-even-more-a9ccfef11af3 For example, instead of "Title," you could use "Your First Name and Organization" as shown below.

Hi Innisfree, There's no way to access user names in the builder right now, but you can go to arcgis.com > My Content, find your Crowdsource story's feature service, and view that info on its Data tab. In the future we are planning to add the ability to configure the form where you collect information so you can prompt contributors to submit whatever you want. We hadn't considered limiting contributors to a specific organization, but I can see how that would be useful in your case. I've added that enhancement to our list, and we'll consider that for a future release. Can you please post a screenshot of the login window issue you mentioned? The window I see shows all the options (see below), so I'd like to see what you are seeing so we can troubleshoot that. Owen

Hi Marcy, Currently we only read the video ID from video links, so no URL parameters are supported. Since this is the only way YouTube supports looping you can't do that at the moment. We will be making more configuration options available for videos in the future. We want to give you controls in Builder to enable features like looping or starting the video at a specific time rather than having to know the URL parameters. Thanks again for your feedback! Owen

Marcy, Thanks for the additional information. I can understand the limitations some employers have on using Flickr or other cloud services -- that's one of the reasons we were excited to bring direct photo uploading to Cascade (and eventually our other storytelling apps)! 🙂 We'll work to improve the uploading experience in the future, and please let us know if there are other suggestions/issues you have. Owen
